I was about to do yet another search query on the forums, but looks like the function is inactive in the interface (updated, apparently, by the way;PS Forum search deactivated) right now? Nevertheless, here we go:

This is just an idea of how many times I’ve bemoaned their lack — not counting all those deleted topics (no idea how many, but they wipe a lot regularly).
While reading the first phrase, I was mentally preparing the same reply (about the ‘core audience’ of these forums in general, though, not just some individual specimens) that you just formulated in the next two sentences.
Once I made a topic with concrete evidence that most HS players are feeble-minded, but, of course, it got deleted.

That’s a very mild and polite way to put it, by the way. As for a number, roughly 4 out of 5 qualify, perhaps, give or take some random error…
How can one come to this conclusion? Just play the current tavern brawl… Cooperative, you say? Blah, blah, not interested, derp-derp, damage the other player’s minions, overdraw him/her/it/whatever, make absolutely stupid plays that make no sense…
Mind you, I’m not criticising anyone who doesn’t know the decks and best strategies, but is genuinely trying (maybe even reacts to pointers you can give), or someone who makes mistakes and admits them or avoids them next time— it’s okay, but being absolutely… thick is not.
You know, sometimes I think that if one were to remove the sloppy mess from inside the thick skull of one of these… players and fill it with pins, needles and bran, the result would be a much smarter scarecrow than it currently is. Again, trying to be polite here and avoiding any strong language.
Is there any wonder, then, that these forums are… the way they are? And there I was, lamenting the lack of reading skills, huh… How about some basic, at least rudimentary intelligence to begin with, let alone literacy or common sense?
PS Go on, flag this post and cry how it offends you and so on. Truth hurts, I know. My primary goal, however, has been to post my empirical findings. I don’t care about your ‘feelings’.

Why ever not, sounds perfectly sensible to me. Don’t you clear your browser’s history, though? 
It tends to be that way , of course. For some reason, this upsets the local… colour. Just look at some of their comments.
Oh, but then, to be a total pedant, you’d have to provide a numerical estimate. Well, no matter, it’s also a way to put it.

Looked up some of the older posts — perhaps you didn’t climb to sligthly higher ranks, totally infested by Leeroy Jenkins.
There probably is (stupidity and cluelessness, for example, which is always an option, especially with the local folk ), but no matter, you’ve generally got a point here.
