This coming from Mister, “I don’t care what experts think, Pluto’s definitely a planet”? Yeah sure, real mature :unamused:.

About the Pluto thing…

I’m pretty sure they reversed their decision on whether or not Pluto was a planet a couple years back.

If I’m not mistaken they are calling Pluto a planet again. Not that this GenXer ever stopped calling it one.

Just sayin.

I think there was a bit of an upset a year or two back when a higher-up in NASA claimed Pluto was still a planet, but that was just because they grew up knowing it as a planet and not because of a change in the official definition. To my knowledge Pluto is still a dwarf planet.

ok…fair enough. I just thought I remembered hearing something to that effect within the last couple years was all.

No they still call it a dwarf planet and their reclassification of what a planet is has changed. The ONLY reason they say Pluto is not a real planet is because it has not “cleared its neighborhood” which is really stretching it in my opinion.

To me it was a bunch of scientists who wanted their name in the history books and many people like myself will continue to call it a planet because it is regardless of what some egg head says.

The reason is because of Eris which is 3 times further from the sun then Pluto and yet they consider that “in the neighborhood” so Pluto is classified as a Dwarf Planet. yet the asteroid belt is closer to Mars then Eris is to Pluto yet Mars is still classified as a planet.

Nothing but a bunch of eggheads who wanted in the history books right or wrong.

It sounds like you’re arguing against something existing at all based on the idea that it wouldn’t -always- apply.

You kind of destroyed your argument here… The only claim you are left with after this, is that you and others can detect this “obvious rigging” by anecdotes alone, yet computer programs and other algorithms cannot detect it because its super hidden and acts perfecly random… Good job dude…

No, I mean I played 150 - 200 games getting to that point. Yes I was newer back then but I hit legend each month in wild now.
