I genuinely wonder how people think after getting tons of matchups they dislike (for winning-related or fun-related reasons) that simply rearranging the matchups will change anything. It’s the same when people suggest a class ban or similar nonsense. The amount of aggregate fun being had will remain roughly the same if all you’re changing is which decks queue into which other ones.
No one can get rid of all their biases. You can learn to acknowledge their existence and deal with them, but even then you’re only doing so on some things. You have so many biases that you likely don’t even know you have.
You can certainly acknowledge some and work on those, but you’ll never curb them all.

Also. For those of you who might not know, several regular posters use multiple accounts. A former regular who accused me of it in a way that was suspicious got me to open a ticket.
That’s why he isn’t posting anymore. I am very happy to say he has been banned and I was given confirmation of it. The regulars know his name. He hasn’t posted in awhile.
I have zero doubt there are multi account user’s in this thread.
I am done posting. Reporting this and moving on (opening a ticket as I am beyond suspicious of a multi accounter again) unfortunately with tech available it’s almost impossible to prove (sound familiar?) But Reporting is the only tool available against people abusing the forum rules.

With all due respect, that sounds too much like a fully general counterargument (i.e. you can discredit nearly any statement by claiming bias). The fact that people do sometimes draw the right conclusions for the right reasons shows that people can be completely unbiased at least some of the time.
Yes, I never made the argument that you can’t curb some biases.
If you did this to me, my made-up string would just be the actual result with heads and tails swapped. I’d recommend having students submit the made-up string first.

They did all do the made up string first. Sorry if I was confusing in describing how it went down. That was part of the “oh man, I really messed up” conclusion everyone had as they started flipping for the real result everyone started noticing the crazy results.
I think the professor went undefeated in every class in always guessing which was which with the bet to the students.
IIRC, it was something like “I’ll guess above a 70% accuracy which is real and which is fake or I’ll owe you all a party”. I don’t remember 100% but the word around campus was he never had to do a party ever.
I remember after everyone was flipping coins at about 30-40 flips into it some people were saying “wtf” like comments when they saw stupid stuff. Like HTHTHTHT or HHHHTTTTHHHHTTTTHHHH

To be really honest, I believe that fun should be experienced by every players when you play a game. If a player is not having fun then he should simply not play. I am very much at that point lately.
I do not even remain civil anymore about it; as soon as I feel the fun is all on the other side of the table, I simply close the app and restart it later.
I do not know if it is because of all the silly win conditions existing now and/or the total polarization of some classes against others but games with good back and forth where both players get to make a few nice moves are ultrarare. You nowadays can see from turn 1 where a game is going as soon as you complete your mulligan and the first player make his move. Holding a total losing hand at start with almost no hope of recovery ( like having a 2-7 hole ) is enough to make me fold right away instead of wasting my time.
200 games as BDK, I hope you keep queueing against those types of decks.
Cause all I literally queue against is death knights and its the most braindead thing it reminds me of face hunters in early hearthstone lmao.

Isn’t it more plausible you’re just not very good or playing incorrectly? Because I highly doubt anyone at blizzard knows of you, cares about you, or is risking their job just to mess with you.
