The rest of the decks that are effective at winrates above 50%, within hsreplay, in high winrate are aggro, sure you could call some midrange, but they kill relatively quickly.
There’s no way that this is a healthy meta when the only control deck is blood dk. Priest isn’t doing well in the control sphere, and neither is warrior. This is not good game design. Sure they’ll come out with patches but honestly I don’t expect much.

Blood dk is unhealthy, not the other way around.
Literally beat blood dk faster or concede. There’s no combo that beats it and it’s going to be S tier by the end of the week.
So it works as a control deck should, the only one that effectively works within the current meta. How is that unhealthy?

Look, I don’t have time to explain to you why, but if you actually read these forums, lots of people smarter than me have explained it pretty well.
Blood dk is the biggest problem with the meta atm.
If you get rid of it, the only decks that perform are aggro, I’d argue that’s even worse.

Keep telling yourself that.
Blood dk farms basically everything and chokes out lots of other options.
What other control decks are viable within the meta as of now? Because I’m only seeing aggro on hsreplay.

Jebus, hand me my crayons…
Why would I play control priest or warrior when blood dk is literally the best deck in the format? Why? It beats fast decks, it beats midrange decks, and absolutely FARMS the other control decks. Why would anyone who isn’t an idiot play any other control deck?
“Hey, everyone, here is S tier control deck!”
“No, I will not play your controlly control S tier control because I prefer my crappy homebrew control that sucks.”
Hur dur, netdecks, hur dur.

Exactly, why would you play any other decks that aren’t control, when the only one within the meta is blood dk? Unless of course, you enjoy losing.

You’re still not getting it.
I’ll pray for you.
Getting what? I don’t know what you’re talking about.

They should never touch Blood DK. Leave it at tier S until the next expansion. Show the people why this kind of extreme control playstyle should never exist in Herathstone. Let the control maniacs get sick of it so the next time they overtune control we can point back to remember Blood DK and remind them how bad it was for the game.
I think blood dk needs some nerfs, but only if paladin and frost dk get similar nerfs. Also blood dk can lose to hero power druid.

So a control deck should not be able to a top contender, true true. Guessing blood will get nerfed before other control cards get buffed

It’s the only deck that can withstand the constant pressure aggro decks are putting out. Combo decks have no shot against the current meta of aggro stone, so we have blood DK and a sea of aggro decks.
Basically, if they nerf aggro a bit, it will let combo decks exist which in turn will hit blood DK.
Aggro and midrange are simply so busted value wise, rather than pure face damage or aggro that control can’t deal with it.
Control has always struggled against value decks, and now value is generated at such a high pace in the early game that regular control decks can’t compete. Spending 3 mana to nuke a monster is no longer great in the early game because the good aggro decks don’t care about individual champs getting nuked in return for your opponent spending their whole turn on it

Yep this is the result of last rotation massive power creep. Aggro hits hard, refills it’s hand easily for mid game, and has late game options.
