Elysiana would feel so bad about her self if this was a thing tho
But it cool from the player who does it perspective
I love this kind of data, so thank you. In addition to looking at Wild nerfs for rotating cards, could some consideration go toward reverting some long-standing nerfs that weâve kinda outgrown? I know that raising the power levels of cards is always risky, but I think Molten Giant proves it can be done, a few clever tricks with Paladin health rates notwithstanding. So, how about it⌠Patches with Rush and Battlecry: Patches gains Chaaarge?
Not necessarily disagreeing and I havenât played enough Hearthstone to have a good thought on if the deck is OP itself. I just REALLY dislike the interaction and I felt the same way in Magic during itâs time having a similar strategy last year.
Change time warp to say âimmediately take 1 turn after this turnâ and you fix the problem with vargoth.
Taking extra turns or infinite turns really isnât any different from any other OTK combo.
When can we expect hunter to get a 50% nerf across their whole set of cards? you know, to bring it in line with the rest of the classes and allow them to ladder without dying on turn 5.
Over 2 years straight of grossly overpowered turn 5/6 winning face decks is enough, dont you think?
Donât get me started on dk rexxar.
Crazy that I havenât seen a Warrior for weeks and I queue into Face Hunter 50%+ of the time
Itâs very different, because thereâs no set needed combo. You can just use your 20 extra mana and wind fury charge on your minions to kill your opponent as soon as you complete the quest and draw vargoth, thereâs no need for discounts or digging endlessly for certain combo pieces, or hiring fatigue.
The combo is also so minuscule that mage can use the Reno package without losing anything good, putting it a step above other combo decks.
I was talking about the concept of infinite turns in general(because the person I was replying to was saying they disliked the concept) not necessarily this particular deck.
The problem is the requirement is too easy, not that it can OTK you.
I disagree fundamentally from stopping the ability to get the OTK. Just hike the Waygate requirement to force the deck to either dillute itself with more random spells or be slower to complete the quest.
so you all can agree about kill gala shaman by two time crazy nerf thx to it!
ohh and just more 1stuffâŚcurent meta is gala previous Q not a single viable nowday âŚohh aggro almost forgot ^^ unbelivable deck and is go outdated when key minion go to wild soon
2 turns is more than enough for defeat someone in my opnion( before vargoth it already was a wild deck) and this deck will only get stronger as anything in wild does over time.
You really not need the third one. It is just Overkill and make things a little too easy.
Hike the requirements will be far worse than change itâs interactions by changing itâs wording making it go directly to trash bin.
Have you played against the Flamewaker version?
Did you forget what happened last month in Standard when they nerfed the DR part of Rogue but kept the Galakrond part untouched?
You propose to kill a deck that uses the Mage Quest while leaving the other one which is also very strong, untouched.
So I donât want to hear from any of you any Quest Mage complaints if itâs super meta warping after a Time Warp nerf.
Just as we suspected, mech Paladin drops off because it has a low skill ceiling. As always just because it CAN get decent win rates, doesnât mean itâs fun or satisfying to play. It will naturally fall off as you rank up and thatâs ok according to blizzard. So paladins best deck is average at best. No one likes mundane and average. This plays like a budget aggro deck, but with a big price tag
Iâm dropping everything I had planned for Paladin and giving up on the class. I invested way too much in to this one class just to use one tired out deck from two seasons ago just to be viable.
Iâll switch to hunter and Warrior, even though I care less for those classes, but itâs more fun playing classes that take some skill and a has multiple excellent options. This way, when I craft a card, itâs likely to have a place in other decks. I think playing one of the dev pets will keep this from happening again
If youâre going to look at unnerfing cards for wild because you want them to see play then youâre going to need to nerf problematic cards:
Archmage vargoth needs to cost more to prevent degenerate combos.
Giants become a major issue when they cost 0, just stop the cost reduction before that point.
Warlock in particular can cheat way too much mana far too consistently. Void caller and skull of manari shouldnât be able to summon 9 cost demons, thatâs ridiculous. On top of this it has access to insanely cheap and effective board clears in plague of flames and defile. This is way too much power for one class and we havenât even touched the worst offender yet.
Continuing the train of mana cheating, Mage secrets should never cost 0. The synergies are far too powerful, Flak mage in particular, such a hyperaggressive deck should not be able to control the board so easily. Kabal crystal runner is also problematic, comboing with duplicate, allowing ridiculous amount of stats to be played for 0 mana in a game. Stop the mana cheating.
Mech Warper. Stop the incessant mana cheating! Make it the first mech played each turn gets a discount or something, set limits for crying out loud.
Even totem Shaman. Why do they get access to 1 mana totems and 0 mana aoe buff spells. Stop printing undercosted cards, stop mana cheating.
Bloodbloom. WHY?!?! Are you seeing a trend? This card is completely degenerate, it should not be in the game in any form whatsoever, especially in Warlock.
Divine Favor. Seriously, nuke this card from orbit. You took it out of standard for a reason, stop dumping this garbage into wild if you care about it at all.
For Wild, weâre looking at some of the nerfs we made to cards that rotate into Wild with the next expansion and seeing if we want to revert any of them
Very difficult to trace / recall⌠can someone help to name any of such cards?
Giggling inventor, Raiding party, Doctor Boom, Pocket Galaxy, Extra Arms.
Those are what I can recall off the top of my head.
Pocket Galaxy, Extra Arms.
Do these really count?
