I am kinda shocked I might have guessed it right 4 days ago when I was making a fun they already had 2 models and now they are waiting if they can get away with it or if they have to post some PR crap and release model 2 :smiley: :smiley:

if you F up this battle pass noone will ever buy it again. we know all you want is money, so Blizz, fix your trash you did.
Just make sure that the end of the day players will get the battle pass rewards they paid for. Lets say someone wants the lvl50 portre , like me, if i dont get it, there is no way i will spend any real money, thats for sure. Im also sure that im not alone on this.

If you want more money from this, fix it… and create a first time good experience.

You still really haven’t provided anything to counteract the sheer data that has been shown from others. Until you can show something like that, a lot of the words here don’t really mean a lot. You recognize that you didn’t share the bonus XP for various activities…then don’t share what kind of bonuses they’d be. Are they just 50 XP? 5000? This post actually confuses things a bit more, as it basically says “nah it’ll be good with bonuses later” but then, like you said, doesn’t provide detail to lead to incomplete projections.

Seriously, that in itself shows you didn’t learn from the reaction. It shows that you’re posting this to save face.

This is not satisfying.

We needed a radical change and once again we got some empty promise of more hypothetical xp with no actual answer beside some extra gold well below what was taken from players.

We were lied to previously and can’t take hypothetical promise at face value.

This is the right kind of questions. It is the numbers that matter, not apologies.

From the information provided here, this doesn’t sound like it will be enough to convince me to continue paying for Hearthstone. However, as there is so much hidden information related to events and bonus experience that I have decided to come up with a hidden gold threshold in my head. If I don’t get that much gold by next expansion, I won’t be buying the mega bundle or the tavern pass! Keep in mind, this threshold accounts for the need to address the current level of unaffordability of the game AND the increase in cost associated with the mini-expansions.

This game really needs to get more affordable (especially for f2p players) if I’m going to continue spending money on it.

Band aid for the bullet hole. This does practically nothing for F2P grinders who were the targets of your “improvements” whether you admit it or not.
This also does nothing about the fact that you have turned gold collection into a massive time sink that players are using roping and other time consuming tricks to make advantages.
The system is poorly thought out.

Hearthstone took several steps in the right direction a while back with duplicate protection and stuff for returning players. The recent change has undone all of that and then some, and this halfhearted “fix” is very obviously an attempt to save face, not an attempt to rectify the issue.

Any effort to make the game always engaging and fun is certainly welcomed and worthy of appreciation.
However, these efforts must not conceal the will to indirectly cause damage to the players by making it significantly more difficult for them to progress in the game without the possibility of spending real money.
Hearthstone has always prided itself on being a game that allows everyone to play freely and grow reasonably by investing time and energy. This feature cannot be overshadowed by a change that effectively forces players into a frustrating stagnation between levels.
It will certainly not have escaped that the experience required to move from one level to another increases exponentially. Likewise, it will not be overlooked that the reward mechanism of 10 gold every three games has been removed. These are obviously changes that change the situation of any average player for the worse.
This is really a pity.
Certainly a company must, in perspective, act with a view to obtaining profits: this is completely legitimate and licit. However, it is also right to respect the trust that the commutiy places in the game system created over years of mutual trust.
This change, as it currently stands, risks making many people quit the game.
Of course, making 1350 gold available in later stages is a step forward. However, this is a (necessary) but insufficient change to rebalance the new system.
You said you haven’t made it clear that there will be more events to gain experience from.
Such generic statements, although supported by good faith, can only leave us perplexed, because they do not in any way solve the critical issues created with the new system.
Finally, and this is one of the major problems of the new system, it is necessary to give greater rewards to the system of achievements which, on the other hand, risks being useless, if not worse, derisive.
In summary it is necessary:

  1. restore the 10 gold won every three games;
  2. increase the experience gained (from missions, or from the games played);
  3. reduce the experience necessary to pass from one level to another;
  4. give experience to each achievement achieved. This is one of the most crucial points for making the new system serious.
  5. make concrete the good intentions that you have already set for yourself.

I hope you can listen to the many voices calling for the new system to be fairer and more balanced in the sense of providing players with greater satisfaction from the gaming experience.

Your system is a disappointment. Why are you so greedy ? Why is it that when you talk about 400exp\hour, you only talk about ranked? Why don’t we get 400 experience in other modes? Because you don’t give us any details , we have to investigate your greed ! What events that “will help you gain experience” are we talking about ? You constantly lie that you want to do the best you can. You have 2 days to correct your mistakes , Blizzard.
