Rewards Track Update Coming Soon

This is the problem succinctly put:

Yesterday, I reinstall hearthstone and played the new expansion for the first time and managed to open 10 packs and get 1 legendary.
So far, the reward track is good for day 1…

However, yes, the skill cap can RNG is still the same. And, it makes me feel bored to play again.

I wish there is a drafting mode (like Arena) that does not require a 150 gold fee to enter. I will definitely like that mode better. (Something like Clash Royale drafting mode)

For every step in the right direction there is something like this…something that defines you as a F2P and the number of classes you can play down to a bare minimum. I continually alter my strategy as you alter yours. This time around instead of opening 60 packs from the gold I grinded I just played Arena. In other words I decided it not worth competing against people who had spent a fortune on the new set. I’m still playing the same one ranked paladin deck when I’m forced to play ranked play. Same with Wild…which could be renamed Stupid or Broken. Keep in mind one of the reasons for the progression track was that Blizzard intend to have even more card releases. The latest deal could have offered the current set and a couple of legendaries but nope it was the prior set…so nope… You should be giving casual players a lot more cards and the trust fund kiddies with no life much all the cards. There’s a lot of competition out there.

I know, that other guy said it should reset every month, so I said no one would reach level 50 in a month.

Can anyone explain why Achievements - Gameplay - Darkmoon Faire does not count when playing Casual? And that’s not the only one achievement (category). Which mode does it count and not count? Why and why not? The description is terrible, please describe and explain more and count correctly please. It feels terrible when spending hours trying to acquire the achievements and get nothing, both EXP and points wise.

You can fulfill achievements in both Ranked and Duels (at least the Casual version, not sure about Heroic).

Lets sum it up:

  • So you first added quests impossible to finish for many players(who were unlucky and did not get any old god in their packs) and now removing them is an improvement.

  • You are changing 7 ranked wins to 5 ranked wins still ‘forcing’ players to play ranked and count it as improvement.

  • 800 exp to 900 exp while it will be still re-rolled for 1k exp quest by the players. Still you count it as improvement.

  • Up until now Tawern Brawl was contributing to quests progress. You took it away and now are reinstating it as an improvement.

  • You changed 50 corrupted quest to 30 still forcing people to play corrupted cards in fast paced meta when each game you can play like 2-3 corrupted cards. You count it as improvement.

  • You reduced exp amount by 30% but in exchange during events there will be no bonus exp rewards and in the last response you claimed that events will be the major source of experience. You changed your mind and still count it as an improvement.

*players will receive a sum of 100 gold more after hitting level 30. Finally a minor improvement.

  • rewards track bonus levels - cosmetic change as there are 3 times more levels and rewards are three times less. You count it as improvement.

The only improvement that cannot be denied is that you gave players 100 gold. Apparently it took you a long time to create the changes that look like changes but have no real impact.

Soon mini set is dropping and playerbase got no real resource boost to acquire it.

Good job Blizzard. Keep it going as I am having lots of fun reading community forums and actually watching your E-Sports content - especially chat section.

Take care.

I had a pop-up yesterday about converting runestones to arcane orbs…what’s that about?

most people count those as improvements

those who are desperately seeking something to complain about dont

Ok guys, I appreciate the changes, but it does not even scratch the main issues with HS economy, it is just crazy expensive. Some fundamental changes should be introduced, for example:

  • legendary card ticket - instead of random legendary, you get ticket - you can use that ticket to get legendary you want / or worst solution: discover a legendary (pick 1 out of 3)
  • dust should be 2 for 1 legendaries, not 4 for 1 legendaries
  • 80 bucks should get you complete set, playing 240 dollars for game a year is just crazy, and you dont get even half a stuff
  • game should focus more on money for cosmetics, and reward more in terms of cards

Lot of people have great ideas for making economy much better, so Blizzard, listen to them. Make the game accessible for everyone, not just for rich. As example, economy in Legends of Runeterra is amazing and you should really learn something from them. Let everyone pay much less for cards, so I can finally recommend this game to my friends.

yeah… but this game is all about buying cards in order to become a legend… this game sucks…

From the Russian player: the Developers listen to the players and began to fix the economy of the game, which was ruined in the last addition. Well done! Only here is a paid battle pass gives too few tangible bonuses, I think that those who bought a paid battle pass should receive a legendary card as a gift! And now the battle pass paid gives bonuses only in the future, and a person buying a battle pass should immediately receive a gift, such as a legendary card, I think this will encourage players to buy a battle pass more often. I also put 5 points back to the game in Google Play. My suggestion: to Make a bonus for those who bought a battle pass, I think it should be a Legendary card. Or a pass to the tavern 4 jokes. Option with 4 passes to the tavern - it is convenient because when the time passes half of the expansion, you can reduce the bonus from 4 to 2 passes to the tavern. And the Legendary card of the latest expansion is a nice bonus that will encourage players to buy a Battle Pass.

You forgot to mention:

  • giving the players 500 gold and 5 packs, that is literally what we would have gotten as a legendary quests chain at the start of every new expansion
  • events now are like old events: gold and packs instead of XP

The next improvement wiill be:

  • we changed the quest “challange a friend”, so it would give you the equivalent of 80 gold (1500 now is 50 gold)

Don’t get me wrong, I like these changes, but the pass is far from finished (having 5-45 or 55-95 gold is still “useless”)

For the love of god make arena or duels rewards give a total of gold that ends to 50 or 0 … I have 30 extra goold that i cant use literally anywhere and its pissing me off.

Use simple common sense to fix simple things Blizzard its not that hard

Remove concede option form ranked play. There have been times that I was one turn or playing one card to get an achievement just to have the opponent quit or log out. No pathetic cards quests is impossible if concede is an still around.

When will “soon” become reality?

Thx!

I agree. I actually think they could have left some of the other things that they did. I don’t mind it taking me so long to get through the rewards track, but I do miss my tiny bits of gold adding up after playing all day too, but I also feel with the track being adjusted, it will bring the gold faster… so maybe it’ll weigh out.

os quejais ates de siquiera terminar un puñetero pase y ver si renta o no. no asfixieis tanto y dejadles que lo intenten hasta el final y lleguemos a la siguiente expansion.

Please, please, please, let me delete this quest!!! Right now, it cannot be re-rolled which means, since I never play ranked mode and never will, I’m stuck with this weekly quest that I can’t remove. I’ve been playing Hearthstone pretty much since it came out of beta and I’ve never played in the ranked play mode. I prefer the casual play.
