After the lovely patch notes, and Blizzard’s conscious attempt at rectifying the issue of requiring cards to be killed or played by either spending crafting mats, or relying on other players to play a card, it seems they missed the mark… STILL
a) I don’t have the mats to make the card.
b) No one is playing the card.
Tech support: How do I progress the quest given the above?
Edit: Of course they made no mention in the patch notes, about if they fixed the issue of people killing the required card and not getting credit for it. Did they fix that or is it still the same.
Further it makes no mention of compensation for all the customers hosed last season by their mistake. Where can I get my rewards due had they not messed up the season quest coding?

“So we’re making some more updates in this patch, reducing the requirements on the Weekly Quests that seem to be blocking player progression for many of you, while leaving the increased XP where it is. We hope these new changes will still reward you more while keeping Weekly Quests an attainable and fun goal for all players. We look forward to seeing how this iteration works out. Please keep the feedback coming! Thanks for playing, and we’ll see you in the Tavern.”
So far, no change since last season. Obviously they missed the mark and completely ignored all their customers regarding last Season/Expansion quests given all the feedback they received. HS now = PtP (pay to progress)
Edit:
Well seeing as the season Quest is now over and from my statistics of game play, was 100% incompletable, it was a 100% failure just like the last one which they obviously didn’t learn anthing from (see: Joymancer Jepetto quest didn’t complete) for more details.
Further, Blizzards trust in the community being able to offer solutions to problems once again failed as 100% of the community and Blizzard its self was unable to come up with a solution to this problem before the season ended. It is very clear that though they are succeeding in saving time an money by delegating support to unpaid contributors, it (in this case) has failed to achieve the goals they intended it to.
Ask me again why I don’t spend money.
With the new season coming up. I wondered if they figured out how to not rely on other players to complete the first quest in the series, or if they are going hose a number of players that don’t or can’t play DAY 1 on opening? Time will tell, but if we base it on their past performance to address, fix, and PREVENT skewed advantages from occurring for certain players. The answer is no.
