[Clarification] Having your ticket refunded doesn’t mean that you will restart your run for free, but rather you get 2 free tickets added to your account.
Hello everyone,
Our philosophy with Pre‑Release Tavern Brawl is to give players an early opportunity to experiment with upcoming expansion cards, while still keeping the format inclusive by allowing cards from the previous expansion.
We’ve noticed that Across the Timeways cards aren’t seeing as much play as we would want. To encourage more fun and experimentation with the new set, we’re banning all Legendary Quests for each class, along with Elise the Navigator. Alternate Reality will remain disabled for this Pre‑Release due to a bug, but will be fixed in an upcoming hotfix.
We’ll be carrying forward the lessons learned here and applying them to future Tavern Brawls to ensure a smoother, more engaging experience.

Note: players with a banned card in their deck can retire their run; its cost will be refunded.
A deck with a banned card will have that card highlighted in a red hue.
To Retire, please go to your Brawl deck and hover over the deck header in the top right corner.

Maybe say when it’s taking effect?
Also, this brawl has shown that quests are going to be a problem. They’re likely to need a nerf on rotation. If the underfel gets any more support it is going to be an issue.

Hi! The game after this patch wouldn’t let me continue my Frost DK run even though it had no banned cards in it, I retired the run, assuming I would get a refund, but I didn’t! Can i at least get a refund? Kinda feels bad to lose out on it even though I did not even have any quests or elise in my deck

great I was on my free run and now after retiring it wants me to spend tickets to go again. I guess I’ll just not play the brawl then

Well thats just great. Literally paid the cost for the brawl because the only deck I have that is viable is Quest Warrior and now it won’t let me start as I stepped away for a minute and the game updated. So now I can’t refund because I technically haven’t started the run…

Is the bug with the reward chest being fixed with this update? Its been almost 48 hours.
Thank you so much it sucked hardcore to face mostly questlock where they got it done on turn 4 or 5. Time to jam some Talanki Chromie dk. Yall are a live saver.

Good. Now we can finally play the pre release, rather than basically the current meta minus a few key cards. It should be much more obvious what has happened and how to retire though, I thought I was having connection problems until I checked Reddit and found this post.

Same thing happened with me. I was running a list that I had to retire at 5/2. I’m ticked over here. I’d appreciate a refund on that. Rafaam#11319

A genuinely good move and thank you for it.
Perhaps it would be a good idea to give everybody their free go back as it’s an entirely different format now and the people who dared to try new cards deserve the chance to get the same rewards as those who just farmed an abusive system?

So I was doing my freebie run yesterday got a win and stopped for the night to continue and saw that I was now locked out. I did as you guys said to retire but now I didn’t get another free run refunded again. I think it bugged out on me.
I never got any refund…
How do I fix this?
Now all the Quests are banned.. great. 
At first only Paladin Quest and now they realized all of them needs to be banned…
