I don’t usually listen to a lot of surf-rock but this album is amazing and this one track in particular. I think Paul McCartney had a very favorable opinion about this song.

Wrecking Crew goodness. Brian Wilson is a flat out genius.
But this one is from my favorite Beach Boy.

I love Joe Walsh. His guitar is so instantly recognizable.
I saw Joe Walsh’s interview with Howard Stern, where Joe said outside his work with The Eagles, he thought his best work was probably Rocky Mountain way.
I remember watching VH1 when that came out. I was a fan of the music at that time, lots of great hits
I love Edie’s voice.
She does the best cover of Dylan’s “Hard Rain” I have ever heard.
I find the stories behind Omae Wa Mou to be nearly as interesting as this viral piece of music:
“The term omae wa mou shindeiru means “you are already dead” in its common English translation. This is a bit like the phrase “hasta la vista,” popularized by the 1991 American movie Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Omae is the Japanese word for the male “you.” This is an aggressive way to refer to a person. Sometimes it might be better to use a person’s last name or first name in place of the pronoun if you are unsure. Wa is the Japanese verb meaning to be. Mou means already, and shindeiru means dead.”

These guys are considered Post-Grunge.
It’s probably their best song imo and they have several good tracks.
It was one of the worst concerts I’ve ever attended because the singer was arrested on stage for public intoxication.

I love that song. I love another (the big mainstream one more) but cannot post it because I will get banned
Wes was awesome while he was sane and active
