The Pulp Fiction playlist got recommended to me today, and one of the best pieces on the soundtrack is the Surf Music song Miserlou by Dick Dale.
That soundtrack has two other examples of good Surf Music: Surf Rider by The Lively Ones and Bullwinkle, pt. II by The Centurians.
Some other great songs from the Soundtrack are:
Girl, You’ll Be A Women Soon by Urge Overkill
You Never Can Tell by Chuck Berry
Son of a Preacher Man by Dusty Springfield
Flowers On The Wall by The Statler Brothers
From my Surf Music playlist:
While The James Bond Theme by John Barry is not commonly classified as Surf Music, it has a surf vibe to me:
The Peter Gun Theme by Henry Mancini is not Surf Music by I enjoy including this instrumental piece on my Surf Music playlist:
This song holds up pretty well for being 20 years old. Pretty sure the band was short lived and the singer has gone into country music since then.
Yeah. Dallas Smith.

Hey Truckie, having anesthesia tomorrow, so hope you will post me some really inspiring music.
I get nervous when it comes to sedation.

Everyone is different when it comes to going under and the stress associated with it.
I’ve been put under for a couple different procedures but I’m already on Valium for other reasons so stressing about not waking up doesn’t really affect me.
I would actually look forward to it as a vacation of sorts.
Best sleep you’ll have for a while
Hopefully everything goes smoothly Mall
