I’m in the same boat. Followed instructions, reinstalled Bnet app, Shop is still closed.
i have the same problem with the shop
Hey all,
Shop Closed issues may be caused by connection problems or an account issue, but in some cases it can be due to corrupt files on the local machine. If you are playing on a Windows PC something that we have seen help with Shop Closed issues is to clear out the files in the hidden Battle.net and Hearthstone folders, so the game can redownload a fresh copy.
First uninstall any Hearthstone mods or programs that hook into Hearthstone, then follows the steps below to do a clean reinstall of the Battle.net app.
- In Windows 10 go to Start → Settings
- Click on Apps
- Uninstall the Battle.net app
- Press Windows key + R
- Type the following into the Run window and hit Enter: %APPDATA%
- Delete the Battle.net and Blizzard folders inside the appdata folder if they exist.
- Repeat steps 4-6 with %LOCALAPPDATA% and %PROGRAMDATA%
- Lastly reinstall the Battle.net app
If the shop is still closed it may be due to a connection problem. Try testing an alternate connection if possible, to determine if the issue only exists with your usual connection.
I follow ALL THE STEPS AND NO WORK.
SHOP CONTINUES CLOSED!!!
guys don’t be too harsh on blizzard they are a multimilion…small indie company
apparently not a multimillion due to shop closed issue, players just can’t spend their money on hearthstone anymore
now that’s not even funny
friend told me that they’re selling a valeera portrait for 1500 gold in shop, that’s my favorite portrait and I wanted it for so long and shop is closed! for almost 2 weeks
blizzard, do something already!
I play on server Europe.
Two weeks ago, after update, the store closed. The store closed simultaneously on two laptops and a mobile phone
I think that it’s definitely not in the game files and not in the settings of OS.
Most likely a problem with account or with the Internet provider.
Small indie company no can fix the shop.
GREATT 1 day more my shop menu continues CLOSED!!!
for me its the same shop closed and that message popup
Try the following. It will solve most common network causes or at least help narrow this down to a device, system or connection issue:
Did you try an alternate connection or device? I took a look at your account to make sure there were no restrictions to prevent access to the shop and did not see any alternate access.
Try doing an extended power cycle on your system. Turn off all devices including the modem. Wait 30 minutes, turn on the modem, wait 5 minutes, turn on any network devices, wait 2 minutes, turn on your computer and try the game.
You can try switching your DNS settings to use a free public DNS servers instead of your ISPs Servers:
We do not have individual steps for specific modems or routers so if you need assistance accessing or updating the devices, contact the device maker/provider.
Sometimes firewall or routing software/hardware will have some advanced settings to prioritize and manage types of network traffic. Normally that is not an issue but we have seen situations where it can interfere with the delivery of the data for our games/voice chat.
Let’s try turning off these features:
QoS
SIP ALG
RoG (ASUS Routers Only)
Security firewalls (Some ISP provided modems)
Not all devices will have these options and the steps for turning these functions off will be different depending on the make/model/software version of the devices and programs involved. If necessary look at the documentation for your security and routing products to find out how to turn these options off.
In some cases there is a corrupt or misconfigured setting within the router or modem. We cannot say what that might be offhand but the easiest way to resolve these conflicts would be to factory reset the router and/or modem.
You may need to look up your specific model for the steps on how to do this and in some rare cases you may need to have this done by the ISP. Feel free to reach out to them for assistance if necessary.
Some folks have reported that a VPN gets them around the issue. Please note we do not support VPN usage though we do not prohibit its use with most of our games. Some countries around the world, do restrict VPN usage so you will want to research these restrictions for your country before attempting to use a VPN.
Many VPNs offer a demo or trial version of their service to allow you test without commitment.
If a VPN solves the issue for you then the issue lies with your network, your ISP, or the path they send you through to get your data to us. You can work with your ISP in these situations to help them hunt down and address the routing issue.
Do you have the ability to connect the system to a mobile hotspot?
We do not support this setup for playing but it can provide contrast to your normal connection. If you go this route make sure you are on mobile data and not on your wifi network and if you have a limited data plan, restrict your testing to prevent excessive data usage.
There are online guides for most smartphones on how to do this and most carriers can guide you through the setup process as well.
Do you have the ability to try a different computer on the same network? Or, the ability to try your current computer on a different network? This can help us determine if what you are experiencing is due to an network issue or something specifically with your system itself. Give it a shot and see what happens.
Now if the issue persists across network and device, it would be time to submit a ticket as the issue may be an account specific issue and these forums are for community based technical troubleshooting. You can submit a ticket by clicking the support button (dropdown next to your name) at the top of this page then choosing contact support.
can’t solve the problem…Tried with public DNS but still can’t get into the store
same router network
home computer list
1.WIN11 can enter the Hearthstone store
2.WIN10 Professional Edition 22H2 cannot enter the store (more than 1 week)
- Network (same as floating IP) OK
- Enable firewall for Hearthstone application OK
- The game is reinstalled, scanned and repaired OK
- Official password reset OK
- Network and independent graphics card driver update OK
- Add the game language pack when the installation is OK
- Delete the appdata Blizzard cache folder OK
Can’t enter Hearthstone store
It seems that the official did not expect that it may be a problem with the compatible function method of the store. If you can connect, why can you play games? but can’t enter the store
Please programmatically check which items were added in the last update? Some players cannot enter the Hearthstone store
windows 10 user here too…shop still close…
Very strange…
Why did all users have problems with the Internet after the update?
Maybe there have been some changes in the game?
I just wanted to add that the same thing is happening to me (I can’t access the store on PC). It started around the same time as other posters here have mentioned. I emailed support and got the standard reply, tried everything that was suggested, and nothing changed. I’m on Windows 10 Home edition, if that helps.
I did everything according to the instruction (changed Internet providers, routers, and set up a VPN connection), but it did not help. The shop is closed. The problem appeared in the last update.
Interesting fact:
One network, one computer, one account:
- I start the virtual machine Windows 11 - the store is WORKING, there is NO red message.
- I start the virtual machine Windows 10 - the store does NOT work, there is a red message.
- I start Windows 11 again - the store is WORKING.
I think that the problem is not with the network, not with the files of the game and not with the account, but in the compatibility of the game with some Windows components.
Virtual machine - maybe a temporary solution to problems
I have the same problem! The problem started after the last game update more than 10 days ago, but still exist for now… And blizzard just saying try to check you connection or reinstall client…
/facepalm
Blizzard is a SMALL INDIE COMPANY they no can fix the problem and give wrong solutions to the customer…
'‘try to check you connection or reinstall client…’
No work, nothing work, more of 10 days shop closed and customer support no make NOTHING!!
But take the money for the job each month? OF COURSE!!!
Fix closed shop problem? NOPE
Take the money for no make nothing in the JOB each month? OH MY GOD YESSS!!
The audacity to suggest using a VPN or a different device just to play their game is mindbaffling.
Same here, no shop. I’ve change langage, uninstall,… and contact blizzard who send me here. Don’t know why btw.
