To add on to this - I play on Windows 10. I tried with and without VM enabled and it didn’t work either way. I’ve noticed several other people have mentioned problems as well as being on Windows 10, but nobody has mentioned the problem while on Windows 11. If anyone is experiencing issues while on Windows 11 feel free to chime in, but this could narrow down a lot of issues.
I’m on Windows 11. Let me just post my support ticket - which they responded to by copy and pasting a useless answer they sent to somebody else, including the other guy’s name, sending me and Jason to the page that says you need to verify your email.
Have been unable to access the shop on my laptop, including arena and duels entries, since patch 25.2. The shop works normally on another PC connected to the same wifi network. Switching to another network does not change the situation. I have tried the solutions proposed here: [this thread] to no effect. Reinstalling the game, restarting my laptop, turning off windows firewall, and using the battle.net app “scan and repair” feature similarly changes nothing. Email is verified, no parental controls, and generally the issue is isolated to one device. New laptop, running windows 11. Shop worked before the patch. Playing from the US on the Americas region.
I’m convinced there is no solution that I can do at home that fixes this but on the other hand I’m not sure what the problem really is.
You are correct, there is no solution on our end. It is intentional by the Blizzard staff to not release any more of the 10-60 free card packs only available through the in game shop. I have a feeling after the first of February, the in-game shop will be re-opened to people.
Everything was working fine before last update. So instead of proposing to all your customers to try VPN or check their networks , just fix your game devs… and give an actual solution to this problem
Agree, the problem not and repeat NO is from customers.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to come in with some additional information on this.
The vast majority of the reports here suggest this is specific to Windows 10. I cannot say if this is related but I did encounter a player with another issue for another of our games that involved accessing the game. They actually discovered the problem to be related to a recent Windows 10 update. Once they uninstalled the update, suddenly everything worked again. The player did not provide the name of the update but it may be worth checking if you have the latest Windows 10 updates and seeing if uninstalling that latest update allows you to again access the shop.

Everything was working fine before last update. I have windows 7 pro and the shop is still closed…Its not windows problem
I wouldn’t try to risk removing Windows Security Updates, if that’s the problem, you guys have to figure out which update is related to the content manifest, maybe “.NET Framework” and “Client ODBC Fixes”, but I’m not sure that’s the main cause of the problem .
Many 25.2 clients have encountered, but this problem is not reflected. I have logged into the mall on other devices and purchased the skin of the heroes of the Three Kingdoms. The original computer kept the default settings, but I still couldn’t enter the store.

Can’t enter Hearthstone store
Yes, we are the same! All my shops in game have been closed after patch 25.2 (launched on 17th Jan). I hoped everything will be back normal after patch 25.2.2. But… the error has been still happened! I reported the bug for supporting and I’m really upset! The first time I get this bug for a long time!
I’m having this same issue on Windows 11. I actually was having this issue on Windows 10, and since you replied with this info I tried updating to Windows 11 to fix it, but didn’t work. I also tried opening hearthstone before updating my Windows through the Windows Update after doing the clean install, also got the same issue.
So right now I’ve already tried Windows 10 latest update, Windows 11 no updates and Windows 11 latest update.
Since nothing is working, you (the team) should really find an actual solution to this problem.
Another thing that happens is when I open the Mercenaries game mode, a red text appears saying “Message Popup Display was not available to show a message”.
So I can’t access any shop in the game, mercenaries, the normal menu shop and BGs shop.

I really wanted to believe that uninstalling the latest Windows 10 update would solve the problem but I have this problem on a PC that uses Windows 8.1 and before the update everything worked correctly
No solution and its complete bullcrap… ruin every game you got… heroes of the storm wont launch… hearhtstone cant heroic duel… no shop closed solution??? no arena… maybe fix the current issues instead of trying to slam us all for money… i hope blizzard and activison lose every current lawsuit you have againist you… money hungry greedy … pathetic…
