Ipad Pro here, and the game is pretty much unusable. It crashes upon launch, or if not then, upon starting just about any match. I’m running the latest iOS update, and my hearthstone app is fully up to date. Thanks for working on it and I’ll hope for more updates soon!

Obviously, legacy IOS devices are not important to Blizzard. I figured they would have fixed this issue by now.

It’s not really an issue of legacy devices–people are reporting problems with new iPad Pros.

My iPad isn’t new (bought it in 2017) but it isn’t exactly legacy, either (it’s a Pro with the latest OS), and I have crashy problems.

And yes, I think Blizz is quite concerned about holding on to iPad players. I’m sure they’re working on a fix.

Please post more information and let us know if someone is working on it. This is not a small issue.

I think they’re not, quit this fan behaviour that leds them to think: “Oh yeah, crash issues
who cares, they’ll continue playing, we can do as we please cause our game is sooo addicting.” IT’S BEEN QUITE 3 WEEKS IT IS UNACCEPTABLE.

It’s a shame. Game keeps crashing on a 2018 iPad, it’s just unplayable right now.
I give up until a fix, can’t stand it anymore.

Sooo, I was thinking the iPad client had already been broken for too long but that the fix must be a part of the announced balance patch. A pain to wait for the patch, but at least it would be fixed.

Now that the patch is live I’ve discovered it was only a small in-game data download rather than an updated client, meaning Hearthstone on iPad remains broken.

Now in lieu of any recent official word I can only assume iPad will not be fixed until the solo content is released on January 21. That will be over a month since the bad patch was released.

Blizzard, when you leave a platform broken for over a month, it effectively means you’ve dropped support for it. I can only assume that you are prepared to issue refunds to anybody who has spent money on the game and plays on iPad since Blizzard is no longer supporting the game on these devices.

I will be requesting my refund if I don’t see official word with a date of exactly when this will be fixed by the end of business TOMORROW, January 10. Accepting money for an unsupported platform is becoming fraudulent at this point.

I’ve played Hearthstone since January 2015 and this is absolutely absurd from a major game company.

For god sake Pls dont blame the ram it works perfect before the shaman nerf update 1 in dec 2019.
It is just a regular excuse in alternative to i dont know what happened, and it is a bad idea to blame your responsibility onto your customer.
The minor issue as you call it start to build up in mar 2019 where the first post abt it is up in bug report forum and after 10 months of time you did nothing to resolve the problem and the post was literally ignored by officials, now it had more than 1k reply with all types of ipad and iphone devices having problem with the app, yet still no official reply at all. Your carelessness had cost your rating to drop 1.5 stars on appstore and your are now one of the lowest rated editor’s selections. You really should feel good abt this.

I have just check china mainland’ s forum and there isn’ t many report abt ios crashes, why dont you just ask your colleages in netease how they had manage the problem? Dont tell me its because you have a f
ing pride!

iPad Pro 10.5 and iPad Air 2. I only play arena and it has been unplayable on the iPads since December 19. Never really had an issue prior to this. Crashes when playing the first card and randomly when logging back in

Works fine on iPhone X

You inspired me to check the China Hearthstone forums via translation. The current build is in fact just as broken on iPad over there. If you navigate to the technical support forums, crashes translate as flashbacks from Chinese and people are just as aggravated, wondering how such a giant company can take so long to fix their game.

It is a company who can say dont you guys have a phone thats why.

Haven’t been able to play in almost a month on my iPad. Thought it would be fixed with the patch
but it’s not. Remind me why I spend money with you again?

If NetEase have permission to edit code I believe they will fix during the holidays, even during the Chinese New Year.

At least we can Pre-Purchase the Galakrond’s Awakening Adventure!!
LOL

Three days? More like three weeks.

Bravo. Spot on assessment.
