I don’t think that’s true
It is true. Common sense, I received no other updates for my phone, hearthstone updates and breaks app. Hence the issue is with the update. Now wether it affects different platforms, APNs, or cellular infrastructure that is still the updates fault. If they never would have updated the app, we would not be having this conversation.
I also have T-Mobile and a OnePlus, but Ive seen other android users on different networks say they cant login w/out WiFi either.
Sprint. Android. Adding name to the pile.
Imagine if everyone who had this issue knew of this forum / actually posted? Might look like a bigger issue.
Same here. Can’t login with mobile. Galaxy s10+ Sprint network. Been this way since last update. This is frustrating…
I’m on T-Mobile with S10. I also cannot play HS on mobile lte since patch!
Same issue on my husband’s S9+ (Google Fi) but it works fine on my S8+ (also Google Fi). Started with Tuesday’s patch. Really weird that it works for me but not for him, all of the settings under APN look identical between our phones.
So, following the ideas posted above to change the APN and use IPv4/IPv6, what I ended up doing was creating a new APN and kept all the defaults just changing the protocol to IPv4/IPv6 instead of IPv6 only and now it appears to be working.
I have no idea why my S8+ never stopped working when it has the same APN settings, but it seems to be fixed with the APN update mentioned above.
Restarted phone and uninstalled / reinstalled new update / app twice and will still not load at all. I’ve also tried this on another OnePlus phone. Seems to be when using mobile data it will not initiate a connection.
OnePlus 7T specifically. Anyone else having this issue at all by any chance? Looking to make sure that I’m not just the only one.
It works on wifi, but I don’t always have wifi available. I have T-Mobile unlimited data with max. signal strength. This is the only app and game, which I can’t update through mobile network.
The errors I’m constantly getting:
No internet connection available. Please check your internet connection. - As I said, I have 4G with maximum signal strength.
Storage full. - I have 70GB-s of free storage. It should be enough for a mobile card game.
Based on current info. this is affecting T-Mobile users. I have T-mobile, too, along w/ a few others who’ve reported the same issue.
uninstalled and installed latest version… still stuck on loading screen… s10 plus with sprint…
So, I’ve got the same issue. And this isn’t the first time.
This happens periodically. I’m going to assume everyone is on TMobile.
You patch the game, and it just hangs at the tavern doors while on mobile data, but the second you log onto wifi it works flawlessly.
There is a supposed work around relating to the access point not connecting via ipv4, but the associated fix has never worked for me.
The best thing you can do would be to open a ticket with both blizz and TMobile and see what happens.
I am:
OnePlus 7 Pro
Oxygen OS 10.3.1.GM21AA
TMobile
17.2.47374
Installed directly from the Google play store, cache cleared, storage cleared, fully uninstalled and reinstalled via play store.
Update: So, I was able to get the apn fix to work. Simply copy ALL information from your default apn, except for your protocols and the actual apn into a new apn. Replace fast with epc, and set your protocols to both be IPv4/IPv6.
I can confirm this works on TMobile to play with mobile data.
Since the last update, hearthstone will only let me play as a new player by not allowing me to log in to my account. When I load the game I am asked if I am a new player or if I want to sign in, clicking the sign in option forces the game to restart and it never fully loads again. It will let me play as a new player however I have spent hundreds of dollars and even more time collecting cards in game. I have followed the self help options such as clearing the cache and uninstalling the game on my devices however I am still unable to log in to my account. I have tried using both a Galaxy Tab S6 and a OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren both fully updated to the latest version of Android available to them. Please help as the meta waits for nobody.
It’s because you have T-Mobile, it’s affecting us all. It worked a little throughout the day, but now it’s stock on the loading screen. Works over Wi-Fi, though, just not on mobile data.
I’m on T-mobile as well and I cannot login via cellular. Wifi works, but that doesn’t help me. Has Blizzard said anything about fixing this?
I am having the same problem and also have T mobile, any word on a fix ?
I’m playing on a Samsung S10 and since at least the last patch Hearthstone will not connect over mobile data. When I connect it gets to the tavern doors and stops. My brother has a S9 and is experiencing the same problem.
Same problem here. Ever since last update, I can’t connect to Hearthstone over mobile data. Works on wifi. No other connectivity issues with my phone. The Hearth logo starts glow-pulsing but never brings up the Hearthstone title text.
Hello I am having issues with my mobile device logging into HSs servers. Yesterday I was playing the update went live I logged back in edited a deck and got off. Later in the night I attempted to load HS but I couldn’t log in all of a sudden I was getting stuck at the tavern doors, even after waiting 10+ mins neither closed nor connection timeouts etc. I tried clearing cache, resetting phones network settings, several restarts and shutdowns… Once I was somewhere with Wi-Fi I had no issues logging in. This morning I tried to connect from my mobile network and same issue. Again. So I did my last resort (other than flashing the phone), I uninstall. After reinstalling I still can’t log in. So I try hitting “I’m New!” and tutorial starts. I’m assuming that is on the game so connection isn’t needed. But when I attempted to log in (before and after trying “I’m New”) it got stuck at tavern doors…
