So its been over 3 months and still no solution, on top of this I cannot collect my free packs for completing solo games and the game no longer tells me when I disconnect so I sit there for ages thinking shouldn’t they have run out of time by now.
I have played this game since the beginning and respect Blizzard for making this free to play whilst maintaining great content…until now.
I am feeling very let down.

Hi guys, not that it’s of any consolation to you but I randomly tried the app this morning and it’s working… Due to the way they have handled this issue, I’m not interested in the game anymore, my battle pass has expired and there won’t be any form of compensation. My advice, find a new game where they value long-standing, paying players!

It’s mid freaking August and still no fix or update?? I’m not switching my APN settings or whatever, you yourselves have said this “workaround” isn’t supported by Blizzard, nor is it MY responsibility to fix YOUR issues that YOU caused with YOUR game!

It’s been almost 3.5 months and they still haven’t fixed this? You’d think this company is going broke, given how little they pay their workers already, so i shouldn’t be surprised. But for real! For a company who should be as big as they say they are, this should not have taken this long to fix! At the very least, give us an update!

Maybe they used the word soon when speaking of a fix, which in blizz terms means before the end of time. This is ridiculous. At least update us. Even if you don’t have a fix we the players need communication.

Once again able to log in and play on mobile after an update patch… for one play session and then right back to the same old problems for the last 3+ months. Seriously Blizzard this is beyond negligent on your part to have not created a solution to a problem that is affecting a large portion of your player base.
Posting or Reposting phone specs and carriers used is pointless at this point. You know exactly where the problem lies. Please fix it sigh

I appear to have resolved my issue, but mine only just started.
3 nights ago, prior to the nerf to Kael’thas, I was suddenly unable to play over cellular. A need that I have nightly.
2 nights ago, not yet realizing it was a cellular problem, I came home and uninstalled HS on both my phone and my tablet (both had been giving me the problems). I thought my issue was solved.
Last night, again same issue. It was then that I figured it was a cellular issue as I could play no problem while on wifi.
The catch: I’m on Verizon. I have a Galaxy S10e and some no-name tablet. When I followed the tips offered by a blue, I found that I was unable to add an Access Point Name. I was however able to tell my phone to switch network mode from GLOBAL to LTE/CDMA. I was then able to launch HS. I tried to revert to GLOBAL, and I’m still able to launch HS.
Keep in mind, I’m at home. I did turn off wifi first, but the real test will be later tonight, when I have no wifi to potentially tap into.
I do feel sorry that this is such an issue for so many people. What ever happened to if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it? I say that only half-heartedly, as whatever WAS changed, it does seem to make HS run a bit more easily on my crappy tablet.

I’ll add that I’ve upgraded to a note 20. Only app I installed was hearthstone and it doesn’t work…
Same, I have the note 20 ultra, t-mobile, still experiencing this. Crazy it’s been months that this has been a problem and not fixed

Same here, switched over from AT&T to tmobile. on a note 20, and cant open HS on tmobile data only.

Never knew this was an issue as I had no problem on my s8. Just swapped to a note 20 and found while no issue on wifi, connecting over cellular would just keep me staring at the opening screen forever

And after reading the thread, made a new APN entry with ipv4 only and the game loads right up.
Seems pretty easy to pinpoint cause, looks at age of thread and wonders why its still unresolved.

Galaxy S10 on Sprint still unable to play anyway other than switching to 3G which barely runs hearthstone without disconnects and/or lag. The only time I am able to play on a normal LTE connection is for one play session immediately after a update is loaded. Work arounds involving changing APN don’t work as Sprint doesn’t allow changing them. After 3 months I don’t think it is unreasonable to feel that this perceived lack of desire to fix the issue on Blizzards part is unacceptable. Roll back whatever change caused this problem initially or fix the damned problem please.

I’m having the same issue. Unable to get pass the loading screen on note 10+ I’ve been playing for over 5 years and am usually able to put up with issues, but this is unacceptable how long this issue has been going on for. Is this how long issues are going to last since the massive layoff of employees this company encountered not too long ago?

As of today, September 7th, hearthstone is working fine! I am on the Sprint network I cannot change my APN network settings, but it’s loading up fine and working as it should be on my LTE plus, 4G Sprint network. I don’t know if Sprint or T-Mobile or Blizzard changed anything but this was a terrible fix that should have been rectified day one. again though, again, again it is working as of today!
My connection to Hearthstone with mobile data has been working on and off for me seemingly at random, without me attempting any of the workarounds listed in this thread, most of which wouldn’t even work since I’m on Sprint.
Don’t know what’s going on with it.
Definitely more down days than up days though.
Definitely not able to connect today.
