That list is not for OTK, but in some theoretical aggro/tempo mage deck beckoning from the early days of HS, where you actually use your board to land some damage first. The burn is to finish them off after your other stuff have weakened them.
Also note classic Alex is back so she can just set people’s health to 15 the turn prior.
For from hand OTKing full health opponents, Sif mage should still be a thing.
It’s crazy how boring this new expansion is. How they just recycle old ideas. After “cast all spells that haven’t been in your deck at the beginning of the game” you just cast one of each cost level now.
This could’ve been an entire new, refreshing set that causes excitement. They seem really to run out of passion and creativity.
You know, I hope this works?
I know I am the voice of the salt mine, but I would love to praise this game.
I don’t think it is unreasonable to expect one fast deck that simply curves out as opposed to constantly spamming discover and rng.
no, you want to howl and complain about how your “favorite class” (which I’m not really sure is true any more) is bad and what a suffering martyr you are.
This guy gets it.
The reprints of those supposed “nostalgic” cards is actually the reprint of some of the most annoying cards that one had to face back in the day.
Jades, Shudderwock, Tarim etc.
But what does Mage get … Khadgar!
Such nostalgia I had for the 2/2 Legendary Khadgar … surely there wasn’t any more influential Mage Legendary than him right …
I think it’s maybe a WoW thing but Khadgar was kind of a big deal in WoW. So maybe that’s why he’s the legendary this expansion.
Also boy I hope the salt dials down a lot in this thread as the next new cards get released. Just chill guys try to get along with each other and be happy and look at the bright side of life. And worst comes to worst just log off and go outside or do something else.
Galactic Projection Orb seems like a more skill intensive puzzle box. With the small amount of 6-9 spells, you can choose what spells you cast to fill the empty spots, which can create some insane swings.
The secret card doesnt seem that good on paper, but its essentially a secret that you can get on the spot for the same cost of a normal secret.
The elemental isnt bad, but it isnt a staple for a potential elemental deck, it is still a decent supporting elemental for a deck that does have a good core.
I can guarantee you it won’t recast itself, as if you duplicated it the card would infinite loop and blizz has never allowed that to happen.
It’s still a solid card. Guaranteed recast of a sunset volley + other random cards.
With mage spell generation it’ll also put cards in hand with the low cost spells, and if you get solid spells in the 6-9 range from other classes this card can pop off hard.
It’s just slow with a lot of setup for something inherently much weaker than Sif
and I will definitely be doing something else if this is what we have here.
I have already plugged back into the Twitch chess community.
It’s funny. no one thinks I’m salty at all on twitch, because I never am.
When you lose in Chess, it’s because you played worse than the other guy, not because team 5 stuck your class with a bunch of joke cards.
Oh wow, this guy just figured out that a game with 100% open information without any random element by design is… dum dum dum… only skill dependent
Congartulation genius, here have a
By the way I really hope you will stand to your word and leave after you get your 10 years card back (really don´t understand why this is so important for you, but whatever floats your boat I guess…), but pretty please, do the favor to all sane people and leave…
