Flamewaker is OP during it’s time in it’s own right.
How else would you prefer the design be then?
To be fair, it is a 10-year old anniversary and the time is ripe for some nostalgia, i.e. with flamewaker.
But, I wouldn’t allow nostalgia to cloud my judgement or enjoyment of the new set
Reviving old OP cards in new meta could prove disappointing, especially if the power creep is taken into account.
I am doing all that while also not including other Spells with that cost only to deal
3 + 3 (can’t cast the Forged version) + 6 + 6 + 6 + 10 = 34 which can even not be lethal if there is an enemy board …
btw this card’s order is probably random, so you can’t even make it aoe first before going face.

I assume it’s first in last out or vice-versa, like with Rommath

On to the card, the legendary seems good. I can’t imagine it wouldn’t fit into a lot of archetypes much like cinematic necrotic explosion.
Not have it be a 1 time thing like Flamewaker, you cant rely that card for anything.

- Forcing a square peg through a circular hole doesn’t make you a hero. It means you made it harder on yourself than you needed to. Also hilarious that you say this in defense of a person openly needing Blizzard to spoonfeed them cards, rather than making something they like on their own.
Most of us just want to talk about cards without tripping over spam threads. Has nothing to do with loving Blizzard.

You are not a mod, plus anyone can put their own views so we can see different views.
However, you engage less with post that distracts your thread and redirect it more to your intention on the cards specifically.

mana cost/stat/effect
4/2/4 2dmg to a random minion for activator (an elemental played, a spell played, etc)?
I feel that will be more better for discussion on understanding how you will like mage card to be like?

Keep the same stats and effect but it can proc again as you play elementals, or let me target the first 2 dmg proc and the other 2 are random.
The problem with this card is that you have no control on what it will hit or it is a 1 time effect that can and will let you down when you need it the most.

Cards like Warlock’s 2 mana 2/2 with lifesteal or the 3 mana deal 5 and restore 2 for each destroyed are both great cards.

Yes that would be a better design in term of agency.
Thus, I asked if there is similar card at that mana cost. Otherwise it may need to scale down on not able to target face.
This card would have potential … if it was an Epic.
With a Legendary the OTK potential is near impossible.
Deck building this is tedious and the restrictions are very hard to look over.
This “archetype” is worse than Light Show and a waste of a Legendary.
Should cost 8 and become an Epic.

Mecha Shark is the obvious card and its 1 mana less, i would rather have a 3 mana elemental with the same effect as the Shark for elementals.
Theres plenty Mage cards from the past that put this new reveal to SHAME.
Its a bad card.

Not clicking on a thread doesn’t mean they don’t appear on the page. Ignoring a poster doesn’t auto-mute threads. I have to mute them all manually.
