Reddit can suck on a lemon , feels bad to aggre with that…
It’s pretty funny. There are people on reddit saying that team 5 hates mage.
They stole my gig!
You got soulfreeze which can freeze 3, not bad for early game when you’re not expected to have a full board
I mean what were you doing turn 1,2,3? you can literally ping down weaker minions
And there’s snap freeze just in case, frostbolt just in case
There’s your minions which can trade
But yeah, I’m fully expecting a big frost spell to connect the dots between already revealed cards
You know with all this commotion over Mage you would expect them to have it Tier 1 year-round by how many people care for it.
I don’t understand why they are willingly impeding their own success as a company.
Mage needs an 8 mana spell frost or not it has to come, i will be pissed if it doesnt.
Why do they keep reprinting the repeat spell effect over and over and over and over and over and over and over…
Case in point, see how lame it is to repeat yourself indefinitely?
Because overloading a single class which is already the most popular one (or is it? well I don’t think it is, but in case it is, the following is true) means less profits and most of the people will just invest in mage decks.
That’s why it kinda makes sense what Mallenroh describes as “stealing from mage and putting on other classes” as you want to copy mechanics which people dig and scatter them around for more profits
hearthstone reddit is melting down over these lol. I thought I was salty:)
That’s why for example shaman also has OTK spell dmg deck (and it’s currently wreaking havoc in top 100 legend), and why Rogue’s Tess deck plays sorta kinda exactly like Casino Mage’s Rommath deck
mage and priest both are starting to feel like the storage classes for real decks to discover free stuff from.
their cards are only good when say., rogue gets them and plays them for free, lol.
I think the situation tells us all that Mage is most popular among all.
200 replies and the reveal isn’t even done.
Still, if you have a player favorite Class it makes sense to want to keep this majority of players always happy.
Very weird that they’ve decided to tone down Mage while it’s the most popular Class.
I dont blame them. It doesn’t take a card game balance expert to know cards like the legendary spell will either be useless, or there will be some combo that makes it op to the point that nothing will be playable. There is no middle ground here.
I have the perfect solution.
Make it an Epic, feels like a waste making this a Legendary.
Easy answer for this, Mage is for sure the most popular class hands down, but you forget that the people that HATE Mage are far more.
So Blizzard is indeed making the majority of the player base happy.
To be fair, I’m not sure that active users of this forum are a representative sample of the whole playerbase, and I don’t recall seeing Mage as the most popular class in those Meta 1-4 threads someone was posting (Killuminati?), it was actually DK
I don’t know. The fact stands that people whine when it becomes OP and it immediately gets nerfed to ground, although not for long, a new mage deck always comes, just not always to tier 1
I’m not sure we have enough data to continue this discussion.
I’m just giving my opinions, don’t get me wrong, none of this is confirmed
Idk about that.
If you have a fan favorite mascot you don’t stop bringing it in games but you instead flaunt it more.
I don’t even know why somebody would hate Mage that much.
Blizzard willingly caused this by making it a ‘look at the back of your opponent’s hand’ simulator.
Everyone on reddit is saying how this was supposed to be a puzzle theme?
and the puzzle is how these cards are good in any universe, lol
There’s no way you’re serious.
You are meant to puzzle your way into making a coherent deck.
Bad attention still shows popularity.
Both the people that hate and like the Class have joined together and made this thread 200 replies.
