Take a look at “frequent posters” just under the OP. I’m the OP and have been uncharacteristically active in this thread - not because of Mage, mind you - and I’m at #3 with roughly HALF of first and second place.
Notice who’s #1…? And you’re at #2…
Having a mascot implies everyone is on the same team we are not, you arent paying enough attention to this forums.
Many would love to dance on Mages grave and i have no issues there , everyone is free to dislike and like what you want.
Both Mage and Priest get nerfed on “feelings” and thats not by chance, Blizzard needs to keep the people that dont stand those classes happy or they riot.
OK I admit at least that it’s the most popular (notorious?) on this forum xD
None of the other reveal threads comes even close to this
Wow
Well I’m happy to be a part of it, come what may

I’ll try to use the cards. If they don’t work?
Well, I am tired of this game anyhow.
I agree with what others say elsewhere. skater seems expensive for the stall and body you get.
If you play this on turn 5, is it even any good?
proud 2nd place.
I think back when Mage wasn’t the Discover simulator we were on the same team.
Everyone liked Mage but Blizzard has turned it into the disgrace of today.
ofc people don’t want it to be good now, because if it is, it means I’ll be seeing the behind of 3 cards in most of my games.
It wasn’t always like that, people liked Mage.

Frost lich cross-stitch seems meh on its own, only playable with other synergies like having spell damage, using it as part of your orb strategy, or being discounted by watercolor artist
But if it’s watercolor artist, I’d rather use the discount on like cyropreservation to reach excavates, or setting up a 0 mana frostbolt for eventual Sif. Holding onto blizzard until it cost almost nothing is also a strategy (you freeze them but still have enough mana to do other stuff)
I doubt there will be a new big frost spell in the remain reveals. Chance of one later this year is high though.
Sleet skater is probably the most versatile of the three. Is an elemental but you don’t have to play full elemental deck. Where inquisitive creation is for AoE skater is for single big things. The armor gain adds extra tilt against anyone trying to build tall thing against mage (someone on reddit point out this counters or at least ties linebacker druid lol)
People liked to play mage, hated losing to it.
And it has been nerfed many times for being overplayed.
Something I have rarely seen them do with other classes, no matter how much they are played.

That’s my theory also.
Blizzard ruined Mage to promote the other Classes.
Because everyone just wanted to play Mage.
There might be.
There is still an Epic card left to reveal.
Thats was before Blizzard nerfed Jaina Portrait those days are long gone lmao.

Didn’t need to bring that up.

Well, they took tempo, stall and damage from hand from mage, and gave them to other classes. for sure.
These are the first cards that even looked like a stall deck I have seen in awhile that wasn’t random freeze, etc.

It’s not an actually good deck unless you are playing in Top 100.
You couldn’t be more wrong actually. I’m an average scrub, and sure enough, when I started playing Rainbow Mage my early attempts were pitiful. But like anything all it takes is a bit of effort to improve. Now the only things giving my consistent problems are Warriors and the odd weirdo that’s playing Hunter in this meta of all things.
There are very few decks with such a steep learning that can’t be overcome with just a little bit of patience.

but why must every mage deck be this way while rogues just get to smash your face in?
Casino Mage is so caught up in Shaper it could never be truly good.
Don’t draw it for a game by Turn 6 and come and tell me you had a chance after.
That’s why you hard mulligan for it?
It’s a card game blud draw RNG is part of the deal.
I did say very few.
On the other hand that would sound like a good challenge if I wasn’t an f2p peasant.
Finally something i really like , No minions Mage is back.
