Yea im having the same issue. Stopped at the doors. On mobile. Found takes 5 minutes can go out in settings clear cache amd data. Cache only dont work. An itll download partial update an let you back in the game while ot downloads the rest. But this is to much a headache as i play a game when i get a chance. Cant have to do that everytime. Im just hoping tbey realize theres an issue an fix it

Had the same issue on my LG G7 Thinq running Android 8.0.0, solved it by uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
Same issue, really frustrating to spend hundred of dollars on a mobile game that always breaks for a day every time there is an update

Me too. Galaxy S8. Latest Android OS. Downloaded update from Amazon Appstore
I was having this problem on my iPhone & iPad. Logged in on desktop (Mac) and clicked through all the notifications, then went back to the phone, and it worked.
Had this problem with iPhone X, latest software
Went to App Store (apple’s) and launched from there, worked fine.

I can see friends, but none of the buttons work at all, and the text for the Play, Solo Adventures, Arena, and Tavern Brawl isn’t even there.
For a game we pay for, given the wide range of dead devices, you’d think you could afford some actual QA on the mobile game before you release a patch, instead of after.

Same phone, same issue - tried deleting the app and reinstalling several times, both to internal and external storage.

Got a mobile internet connection with other websites loading properly.
Hearthstone was working perfectly since right now…
Since realised the app doesn’t work never had a chance to play on Mac or iPhone just realised now, I firstly thought it was my internet connection since I’ve got a poor one but realising websites load and other people having the same problem, thought it was the hearthstone servers.
Hearthstone app which is updated or not I am not sure.
It starts the app with the inn background then the hearthstone logo loads and stays stuck there for a long time.
Afterwards an error message appears automatically saying
”Closed Oops! Playful sprites have disrupted Hearthstone as it was connecting to our servers. Please wait a few minutes for them to disperse and try again.”
And at the bottom of the screen says something like click to try again.
While trying to open the app many times it was either logo loading and then disappearing and error message coming up with long waiting time in between. I am not sure about the sequence but it’s either random or consistent with how I described it before.
I’ve also tried to shut down the iPhone and it’s the same error and I’ve also switched off the mobile internet with no luck I think…
And also I’ve decided to purchase the Uldum 80 packs and I couldn’t do it via the app tried the web blizzard shop I was properly signed in and was suspicious why it was asking my what region with America’s selected. I’ve proceeds to pay 109.95 I think since it’s on macintosh but it came back with an error after an extended period of time the error was something like the transaction didn’t go through with some writing on top saying there need to be security that you need to pass…
I’ve checked my bank account I’ve got sufficient funds and my card works perfectly. I don’t want to repeat this thinking I don’t want to be double charged hoping to do it in app…
Update1 7:15 pm: I’ve put the iPhone on airplane mode for 30 seconds and loaded hearthstone app. Does the same sequence stay in inn background for a few seconds and then a very long time with hearthstone logo name and goes back to the original error message. Have not tried the web shop yet…
Update2 7:19pm: I went into the App Store to check the updates and under the hearthstone app it says hearthstone updated recently version 14.6.31761 1.4GB
This means my previous claims are wrong and I do have hearthstone updated to uldum.
Update3 7:53pm: Same problem with same wait times have not tried the web shop yet…

Update7 next day 3:18pm: reinstalling app will let you know of outcome, before the reinstall got error “your connection timed out as it was requesting data from the hearthstone servers.
This is all on wifi now not mobile like before…
I have not tried the web shop yet…
