For several versions of the game there is an annoying bug - if you go to the “friends” tab and click on a friend-the game crashes, although the chat should open. Please fix it, it interferes with normal and uncomfortable play with friends.
Same, iPhone 7, i already said it many times, its insane.

Usually, a crash with the Friends list on mobile can happen if you have too many pending friend requests (you send a friend request, the other party has not accepted it yet). I believe the best (only?) way to clear that is with the desktop Battle.Net app, where you can view your pending requests and delete the old ones. Though I have never done that myself (i.e. I do not have any pending requests to try it out).
Where can i see pendind requests?
According to pictures on google image, that would be under the “friend list” icon located at the top right corner of battle.net software; the very last (of 3) icons on the right, with 2 people’s sign being superimposed, you should see a section in there with “# pending friend requests” under the “favorites” and “friends” sections…
As far as I know, other user don’t have any pending friend request, but has the issue.
I will try but i think it wont fix it, but thx anyway
