I feel somewhat obligated to try to grind gold beyond just doing the daily quest, due to being a budget player (all my standard decks were less than 2k dust to make). I find casual is the best, most time-efficient, place to do this, due to the fact that I don’t feel like I have to stay in games where I am so behind it would take a miracle to win. Whereas in ranked I do feel like I have to stay in those games till the very end
So I try to get about 20-40 extra gold beyond the daily quest per day. So with about 50% win rate that’s ~20 games/day. Back in the day I used to hit the gold cap usually around once a week on my off days, I have yet to do that since coming back to HS

i play until mulligans start being rubbish and the “RNG” is now being weighted against you.
When you are playing an ultra aggro deck and 2 or 3 games in a row you can play a card until turn 3 / 4 you know its time to quit 
3-5 games at most. I just don’t like wasting too much time in this game.
If I am doing something else, something boring like a video conf, I would do a battleground or two, because it is mindless.
And no greeting, first thing I do is squelch. Wish there was an auto-squelch option

I would say 70% of my games are on my phone when I’m waiting for my food somewhere, waiting in line somewhere, eating somewhere, or basically doing something other than driving where I am bored and can multitask
I only greet if greeted, then squelch after greeting, otherwise squelch at the start
0 for two months now, but I do check in occasionally to see if auto-squelch and 30s time controls have finally arrived.
