the only reason i said that is because so far i have not seen you make one erroneous point other then when i thought you did because i misread what you said and argued against it. it is not possible considering my personality to automatically take anything for granted.

I think not to discredit those whom tries, to make contributions, to make the matter clearer.

It is unwise if we build confidence on subject w/o ample reasoning. (back with the required evidences) Even when there is a lack of evidences, the logical approach(method) of analysis still applies to help on the subject.

As long as the poster made a reasonable statement, and considering the reasonable statements from supporting/opposing posters does the picture become clearer for those whom are really interested.

F2P games are designed in a certain way but it may not be as malicious depending on many factors. Many players (even dev) recognized this and had no issue with the trade-off. Had it been designed differently, then a ripple effect will also affect the game/and it’s players.
(topic too big, and should be done separately)

Some of us here (are here) just to share thoughts, knowledge and experiences. There is no superiority over another (by age, education, whatever) as we all have different background. The impt thing is where we accept each other, even when we have differences, and can interact and share as a community. There is no joy if we start to discriminate senselessly.

For those whom put in alot of effort to drive this thread in a proper direction, they gain nothing,

......

except maybe a friend if we can come into that stage of acceptance.

But if true, wouldn’t that which counters your deck also face it’s counters? Sort of a catch-22?

Edit: Let’s try to keep this discussion going here. However, another rigged discussion is going on here:

Why? There is no rational discussion possible out of all of the years of threads on this. There are no new arguments, no new data. Just salty losses and rationalizations of why it’s just not their fault.

I see. You think a fresh start is preferable? Akin to the discussion of :turtle: mage, in my mind it’d be best, for keeping track, to keep the discussion centralized. But you may be right!

You only get to be THE counter deck when you have lost many games and need to win to get back to your 50% win rating by the algorithm. So, basically, players who are on a win streak play against players who are on a losing streak, and the one who is on the losing streak gets to be the counter to the player who is on the winning streak.

Why is that the alternative?

It doesn’t matter what thread it’s in, nothing productive comes from this topic.

I probably misunderstood you. I thought you were trying to say that it’d be a good idea to ditch this topic and continue in the new topic regarding rigging.

I see what you mean (read your edit). You’re seemingly correct. This discussion has gone nowhere virtually. Other related discussions and debates pop-up however, some of which are interesting as a result.

So I wasn’t going to say this part you pointed out in the other thread, but someone had pointed out how facehunter was a favorable match up for his deck… lol.

You do the rest of the math.

I don’t believe the game is rigged in this way, I see what you’re on to. What the posters positing this theory are seeing are perceived counter decks, but in theory they are not by the highest level play standards.

And I don’t think it is either.

I am just suggesting people are salty about losing, not about a rigged system that seems to be giving them decks they should beat more often than not. They are literally complaints about favorable matchups.

And although it’s been stated so many times but this often boils down to confirmation bias. Whether you hate this suggestion, this is truly how the human brain works.

We need a large sample size and observable data here. End of story.

I know! I always make sure to confirm my belief that most people are using confirmation bias.

Between data aggregation sites and Twitch, we have millions of publicly recorded games. No one has found even the slightest hint of manipulation.

If you could hear how hard that made me lol. I’m such a nerd.

And what truly blows my mind is the fact that despite the belief that we are playing a game created and owned by, for lack of better words, a manipulative, conniving, sociopathic company - we still play! Some of us, even, still pay!

How can we you continue to partake in this malicious scheme? :face_with_raised_eyebrow: Hell, get out while ya still can!

The game is so incredibly rigged lol.
How come i can predict BG attacks with such high accuracy that i would be rich if i could bet on it with appropiate odds lol?
And how come in over 40+ games i didnt get the option to pick jandice or rag even once while having the option to chose between tog, nef, rat king and bartendodron all the time?
Those odds are incredibly low yet i see people on stream have 1 rag game after another lol.

Its rigged against people who dont spend money on the game, that i am 99% sure of. Its so lame.
