Hearthstone really is rigged. Here's how to beat it

there is alot talk abt MMR. Maybe someone who climb really slowly with low win rate will meet someone of lower MMR at that said rank. Who knows? if thats the case, non-meta meet non-meta is more likely.

Don’t bother posting any “data” here, there’s a reason I’m ignoring these fools…

A few years ago, some people did some testing and posted their results confirming there’s some “rigging” to the game. However, upon them releasing their “data” they were immediately trolled upon and their posts/thread removed and the mod himself said not to post such things on the website.

For one, the worst spot to make a post for a game you believe to be rigged is the games own forums…

I don’t why this keeps having to be repeated, BLIZZARD HAS PATENTS ON HS, GET IT??? Why would the 3 websites (why aren’t there more 3rd party websites collecting data??? hmmm) drop the ball on the scam they themselves are a part of?

Blizzard/HSR/VS/Hearthpwn ARE ALL ABOUT MONEY!!!

Some of you people with your ignorance thinking corporations are good and they would never break the law, no not our dear Blizzard whom we love dearly for all the original games they created before being bought out themselves… Some people might begin to see why I don’t want to post here much nor will I elaborate more than I already do, there’s no point, it’s World War Z here…(psst, some of you would be very curious to know that HS scans your deck/collection, that they made up a figure “MMR” to control to a point who you play against etc. There’s nothing random about HS, it’s pre-planned, designed by people far more clever than us and more intelligent than most peeps here.)

Every shred of “proof” that ever gets posted here is automatically ridiculed then deleted, unless you guys want the mass of mods coming back again like they did a year ago before these new forums were made. Seriously, does anybody have a good memory anymore or is it always lie lie lie…

Cheers o/

My reply not directed at you.

But if there is such data, why stop posting it after 1(few) failed attempt? (reference to the most hot topic a few days back, where posts are still being posted and still existing)

If the data is able to stand up to scrutiny, it will always be available in this age of internet, no?

Lulz so according to Reapr not only is the game rigged by Blizzard but the three main date collecting website like Vs and such are in on it as well and not reporting the game is rigged. Conspiracy much???

Im not even saying 100% the game isnt rigged. I choose to believe it isnt rigged based on evidence, my own games, data collection, ect. But I will tell you one thing for sure. One thing I can say with 100% confidence. One thing that I have done twice in the past to games that became rigged or hacked like land warrior delta force. I QUIT PLAYING THOSE GAMES I THOUGHT WERE RIGGED. NO SANE PERSON CONTINUES TO PLAY A GAME THEY THINK IS RIGGED. That would be like me continuing to play land warrior when the 50 cal hack came out and they knew about it and never fixed it. Not only that but according to Letsurf logic, I would switch my main weapon to 1 of 3 different weapons every map so i would somehow maybe get matched with ppl that werent cheating everywhere.
Utterly Rediculous logic.

NO SANE PERSON CONTINUES TO PLAY A GAME THEY THINK IS RIGGED.
NO SANE PERSON CONTINUES TO PLAY A GAME THEY THINK IS RIGGED.
NO SANE PERSON CONTINUES TO PLAY A GAME THEY THINK IS RIGGED.

Ignoring the ignorant and illiterate who can’t seem to understand that which they read or even read properly and comprehend that which they read…

This has happened, that I remember, two different times, the claiming of “rigging” within HS. Last time was just about a little over a year ago before these forums were made and the old forums taken down. The time before that was about 2 years or so ago. I bring this up because the last time, the time just before the old forums closed down is when 2 people did SIGNIFICANT testing and attached a .doc to their post showing their results. The thread didn’t survive two days before being deleted and removed while the trolls of the forums did their thing. The “data” they gathered showed that HS does in fact scan which deck you’re using and will use this figure they’ve made up, “MMR”, to “assign” an opponent for you. I think you know where I’m going with this… They also discovered tricks around this but everybody ridiculed them saying “tin foil hat” theories etc. My point is simple, these forums are the worst place to discuss what corporations do with their products nowadays. We can’t have a meaningful discussion here, use your imagination to figure out why.

Peace o/

I’ll use my imagination to determine you are a liar. Yes people in the past have claimed rigging is real. Yes their posts have been deleted because they were spamming. If they proved anything they could put it anywhere else on the internet and the media would eat it up. You are talking nonsense, looking to cause trouble and get attention.

Sadly no one in this thread bring up data yet. If not I will be rather interested.

It’s really hard to vindicate people without having hard evidence of their existence, let alone their argument and data. As much as I love to give you the benefit of the doubt, your logic, arguments, and general attitude are more than enough to dissuade me from doing so. On top of this, I’ve been a part of these forums since last March and legitimately have no recollection of the thread/individuals of which you speak. When was the thread created.

Seriously, there’s not any real purpose in trying to reason with people like Reaper. These are people who have not only guzzled the Flavor-Aide, they are pumping it intrathecally directly into their spinal cord to bypass the blood/brain barrier so their few remaining brain cells can braise in this nonsense like the last desperate chunks of gristle in a vat of acid. They talk like there is “evidence” but all they’ve got is a tattered knot of their own bias and anecdotes that they pretend is a majestic tapestry of proof. I wish there was a nice way to say it, but there isn’t. These people are flying at 60,000 feet high on their own gaseous emissions to the point where people who live on a street corner eating their own poo look at them and pity them.

i just notice something interesting playing around HSReplay today.

I check the top 5 decks matchup and notice amongst all their priest opponent they meet rez priest 42-45% of the time while quest rez priest, 31-34% of the time. Rather stable numbers.

But Rez priest only meet rez priest only meet rez priest 28% of the time while quest priest 41% of the time. The % difference suggest to me, there is some coding to lower the odds of mirror?

pcgamer .com/ activision-wins-patent-that-uses-matchmaking-to-make-you-want-to-buy-stuff/ noooo never in a million years…never ever ever ever. Gee guys all this conspiracy talk all we want is proof /rolls eyes. The company that ownes blizzard ownes the patent but thats not good enough for some of you either. So what exactly will it take

pcgamer .com/ activision-wins-patent-that-uses-matchmaking-to-make-you-want-to-buy-stuff not perception here is proof

I’ve seen this article before. How is this proof of rigging? Are we reading the same article or are you just not comprehending what it says?

That exact patent has been done to death on this topic before. At best it would be used to pair new players against veteran players that have bigger collections, and this doesn’t align with any of the “game is rigged” claims that float around the forums (these rarely align either but typically claim that the rigging kicks in when you go on a win streak or play a certain deck).

To put this patent in HS terms the patent specifically looks at getting people to ‘upgrade’ items in by seeing them being used by players at a higher than average rate. For instance, if you play a lot of, say, Highlander Hunter you’d be matched against players who had a Golden Zephrys/Bran more often than average to advertise the gold card to you.

TBH the patent seems a lot more applicable to Overwatch than HS.

My questions are still not answered.

This forum is not the only place where HS topics are being discussed. There are many other platforms.

Where are all the data, evidence, etc?

The logic does not reason out.

check my latest reply in this thread. I think its quite interesting. i like to add rez priest form about 41% of all priest. Highlander paly mirror is 21.1% vs its appearance in 27% of all paly decks and compared to 28-32% meet rate amongst all top meta deck. Same observation for murloc shaman too , 7.5% vs 12.8% representation.

1 explanation is that you being a player of that deck reduce its number in the pool by 1. But 1 is very insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

Good point. People did ask for data and now we have some data!
Lets see how this anomaly will be explained. I can tell you right now that this data wont be accepted as valid for whatever reason.
And in this case there could be a good reason (I am not ruling anything out). Like for example the one you mentioned in the post above, which in the end comes down to “to small sample seize”
But this is the biggest sample seize we could possibly get (though we have no clue how big it actually is).
If people don’t accept this example, then they should also stop asking for data because the data wont ever be good enough.

It gets even better I see now,the patern can be seen with 2 different decks which makes it a bit more difficult to claim “sample seize” to refute it.
Many people did ask for data,i am eagerly waiting their response now that there is some data.

And to dsm who responded to me earlier:yes that could be a possibility. I did notice it when climbing with off meta decks and my climb was pretty slow with no doubt a relatively low mmr. Seeing other people with low mmr who probably play off meta decks more often then people who try climb asap and have a higher mmr.

Is “matchups” a Premium thing? I don’t subscribe, so I can’t corroborate this.

If certain archetype are actually running into other archetypes at substantially different rates (all other things being equal, like rank, for instance), then this is reasonable evidence. But I can’t see it, and I’d want to make sure I understand HSReplay’s collection and labeling methodology.

Just wanted to bold the parts most relevant, most people here are idiots, far too conditioned to reason with. They keep replying to me thinking I will reply back, I won’t you fools lol. Make up whatever reasons you want, as Lykotic said, the only good these forums seem to produce is “mild entertainment”…

There has been “data” released, I brought up two occurrences and immediately I’m being trolled. You guys really think those that are willing to spend the enormous amounts of time to conduct research are going to release their findings here after the history the trolls of this forum have??? Seriously??? Too many dumb people in the world, I don’t want to explain everything. A human psychologist could make a killing here, explain the “human condition” and effects of capitalism on people, especially the youth…

No one is going to do the work for you, no one is going to give “data” to you people, you guys cannot ever be satisfied, you are simply here to act as a deterrent nothing more.

Cheers o/ (glad I’m not brainwashed like these “people” are)
