That’s stupid, u can’t justify that time must be limited just to make people not be able to play it correctly.
U still need to check out special effects like poison, divine shield and cleave, your premise makes no sense at all considering that most of the minion placement is considered on the starting board during a battle phase.
Yes there is. Your examples are all deliberate features of the game.
In sc2 eventually macros were banned because people were attaching sniper spellcasters to their mouse wheel, executing a group of 20 snipers spells in milliseconds with one wheel scroll.
Everyone is capable of setting that up, so why did they change it?
Because it defies the intentions of the developer to have the player be able to scroll a mouse wheel and mass cast abilities.
Using an exploit is not playing ‘correctly’, your done here.
Why the hell are people still mad about others using that exploit? Its clear devs dont give a crap about players abusing the game flaw, so why not just join them?
You have a choice to fight on equal footing, if you do not take that chance, well…your choice.
I understand some people do not want to willingly exploit a flaw for some reason, while others are happy to abuse it. But why to be mad about it? Sure, its kinda frustrating the devs arent competent to even fix their game, but hell…is it really that shocking regarding the HS?
What’s the difference? I see my opponent’s board and check my placement skip the whole animation stuff for more time for combos or I do the same thing after all animations are over 4 min later, u don’t make the game unfair if one side just decided to spend their time watching.
i dont think it can be fixed except for banning people who disconnect frequently.
its sad people do this (or watch streams) for hours upon hours for minor xp and weird imaginary rank.
I never liked this random mode but i grabbed like 15 wins over the month for some bored achievements… now i am just 1 win away from a challenge and i dont even care… the game mode is bad.
I start using the firewall exploit, not to get to the recruit phase faster, but just to have enough time to do anything! Animations take too damn long, every 4th turn now there’s another option to discover. I’m trying to move so fast, the game isn’t registering my clicks. I’m trying to drag a minion from hand to the board, and it instead grabs a minion on the board. Animation lag is terrible! Battlegrounds really needs to remove ALL animations. Every minion you buy, every minion you sell, every battlecry, every buff, every triple, EVERYTHING plays an animation, and every animation slows you down. I’ve had turns playing elementals or pirates where I entered the tavern with 116 seconds, and still was rushing to finish while the fuse was burning. The two minion types that require the highest APM at high tier also seem to have the longest, laggiest animations.
Closing and reopening the client to take advantage of connectivity limitations has never been an intended way for any game to be played. Period.
It is quite clear to any reasonable person that people are not intended to abuse this. Blizzard has no way of knowing definitively whether someone is sincerely disconnecting or trying to abuse the ability to reconnect, so they have absolutely no way of enforcing this.
And according to you, unless they are disciplined for their actions, what they are doing can’t be considered wrong. You know how they operate is wrong despite them doing nothing illegal. That’s hypocritical to your entire stance on this.
When it comes to some stupid in game exploit, ‘oh we don’t know if it’s wrong’ because you are not being disciplined for it? Baloney.
If you only know what is wrong because someone is there to give you a direct consequence, how is that any different from the ‘Corp greed’ you are deflecting with?
You can blame the mobile platforms for this since they are the ones that encounter so many disconnects that blizzard has to let people rejoin matches after disconnect or nobody could play in mobile.
As per the EULA, explicit consent from Blizzard is required for this exploit to be used. Untill that consent is given, players utilising it are cheating using the only definition that matters - Blizzards.
I dont need to know a driver is drunk to know I dont want them on the road!
