If u dont want it…dont use it, its quite simple.
Dont take the right of another player to have access to this.
This is an imbecilic statement and you know it. You use it because it offers an advantage over people who don’t, but it is an advantage that comes at the cost of the entire player experience.
The gameplay by such an exploit is degenerative, because it allows for one dimensional strategies to dominate over the little interaction we have between players that we can have an influence on (minion placement).
Such an exploit that supersedes the need to care about how the attack order takes place at all because skipping it affords you enough time to buff your board sufficiently to not care is degenerative.
But if I don’t do it, I’m the one who is going to be one a disadvantage if the animations lag.
Then Let me decide what happens with my time, if I don’t wan’t to wait for u I dont need to.
U still need to worry about placement even with this in consideration and by skipping u are also sacrificing vital info about your opponent…Quite fair if u ask me.
So playing the game with proper time for the right play is degenerative? and MY statement is imbecilic? wow.
… like everyone else. You are not special. General animation lag is a problem blizzard needs to fix regardless, as is the speed of animations themselves.
Not at the cost of gameplay with hackneyed exploits like the one we are talking about.
Playing the game with EQUAL time to your opponent, without abusing the client connectivity is the intended way to play the game yes. Any strategy that needs not care about what your opponents are doing is problematic — let alone one that includes abusing client connectivity.
they should just give us a “animation off” mode or a “skip battle” button and everything would fix itself on this aspect
No, because then again you are encouraging playstyle that are so one dimensional that they don’t care about placement at all or what your opponents do.
If they sped up animations after the first person finishes, or after x seconds into the combat that should be sufficient as after the first few interactions it is no longer as useful.
Even skipping u still need to care about your opponent’s board what makes u think otherwise? lul
If they sped up the animations like this then its basically skipping.
Because your skipping… nice catch 22
It’s not. People using this exploit most effectively are skipping the moment the rope finishes and don’t see any combat because those extra seconds give them +30\30 to their whole board so who cares what minion placement is when even your little rag is 60/60. That’s the problem.
I didn’t decide what is and isn’t a game mechanic. I suggested a solution that would remove the benefits of the exploit, to even out the playing field.
In the last year or so, blizzard’s give a crap expired. If you wish to cheat, at least have the gall to admit it, what you’re doing is pathetic. If you use this exploit, you are a cheater, and are only proving you lack skill.
This game is going faster down the toilet than Overwatch.
People who do not use this are just handicapping themselves and calling it unfair. Everyone has the ability to do it. There is no difference than when you are in standard spamming the strongest deck at the moment. Or when people always went divine sheild, poison, windfury, taunt, deathrattle murlocs
No, people using this method are cheating according to the EULA. Blizzard has not given their approval of this method, until they do, its cheating. Period.
They also ban cheaters…yet the all the high ranked players use this method…are they banned? They have not told people where they stand so as of now it is part of the game. No more no less
Where is their consent? Show me that, or admit you are wrong.
Having to go “offline” in an online game to reap the rewards is very much covered by the EULA as a cheat - if you use it you have an advantage over people not using it.
Thats a fact. You are wrong, unless you can show me a Blizzard rep stating that doing so is OK. Then I will happily stand down, but until such a time, YOU (and everyone using this method) are a cheater!
At the end of the day they are aware of this, and until they come out and say something it is in/part of the game regardless of your opinion on it…i will keep using this method and having fun
Until you have their consent, using THEIR definition, you are a cheater. Congrats.
Name call all you need to but at least i’m having fun and not having to come to the forums to express how upset i am over a video game
An if they did not allow this it would have been patched by now
You are still violating the EULA as it stands.
Nothing you have said changes that. If you have to force disconnect, from an ONLINE game, to get an advantage, using Blizzards definition in the EULA, thats cheating.
Defend it all you want, just know that without Blizzards expressed consent, you are a filthy cheater.
Well when they release their official stamce we will know. Anyways good luck in BGs, mr. None cheater
And until they do, its cheating. Period.
