Big Shaman being Cliff Dive Shaman? (aka Bonk shaman)
Or is there another Big Shaman Deck?
No that’s the one. I myself never play that deck anymore. I always draw all the minions before i can cheat them out.
That’d be the one, yes
There’s not, but the list I’m seeing now in top 200 includes a Zilliax
It might be a Big Reno Shaman or just a pure Reno Shaman, I can’t be sure, my games end too fast
It’s literally the worst matchup for BSM.
Every single data site has Painlock dominating BSM. Once again, you are wrong.
57,4% winrate in 115 games on Painlock, losing to BSM left and right, not even lowrolling at all
It’s fair to assume that wouldn’t happen if my deck really countered that one.
P.S. Please post those stats?
A thing to note: the 35% of the games painlock loses is when mage gets the turn 4/5 tsunami. It doesn’t counter the high roll, it counters the average roll.
Otherwise the pain lock should win before the turn 6 or 7 Tsunami, or the tsunami just won’t be enough to take initiative by then.
If you go to d0nkey website, you can see replays of how Painlock players are beating BSM. BSM has to high roll or it loses. It cannot win any other way.
This also matches with my experience yesterday with BSM. That matchup is pretty much auto loss. Sometimes you can high roll and still lose.
You can get a Tsunami off on 4 or 5. But if you don’t have ANOTHER Tsunami following in the next 2 turns, you lose.
Current version I’m running uses Cult Neophyte and Speaker Stomper. Was able to successfully delay their combo into a win on turn 5.
Yeah, it is possible for that deck to get under big spell mage.
It is part of why the version I use runs heat waves and star powers. It gives an alternate way to maybe survive if I don’t have Skyla on 4.
…you were as good as you believe yourself to be.
Apparently every other person is doing fantastic with it VS BSM, but I know how you’re incapable of accepting data that impinges on your fragile ego bubble.
Exactly my reaction, lol.
Then I’m either lowrolling, or we’re playing an entirely different game
The deck can’t be beaten. Either you go for the giants and get killed with a weapon and random dmg from scarab keychain, or you don’t, and you get overrun by the ellies.
And then people keep getting surprised I don’t trust data from websites, lol
My winrate is over 60% until I hit top 200-500, and when I highroll into 80-180 category, it falls down to 44-45%.
It’s NOT the same game. Stats for 1k cover too many noobs to be legitimate.
Obviously, I could still be wrong, we’ll give it enough games of a sample before I start becoming annoyed again…
make claim that you admit when you’re wrong
make bold claim as if your voice is the authority
looks at facts and data that proves your claim is wrong
reinsert bold claim that you are the authority of knowledge and the facts and data are wrong and you are still right
I feel like this is deja vu…
Yeah, it is possible for that deck to get under big spell mage.
I’m 2 for 2 with delaying their combo enough to get the win in just before or after their big play. That said, it would not even be remotely possible without the Neophyte or Stomper, of which I had one of each to win those two games.
And of course the mage went second and had the Tsunami and Skyla in their starting hand. (totally random, right?) I still think it’s a gross deck. I’m just happy I can take them down a peg while they’re busted.
- 3 for 3 now, but again I’m getting rather lucky in each case.
2nd edit: My luck ran out. Symphony really doesn’t like to give you what you need.
I think it’s going to turn out that there’s enough stuff around that can reliably beat it.
The question is more: does the play rate drop enough that the deck doesn’t need to be nerfed to force it?
As it’s a winning mage deck, probably no…
Sooo…if you know Painlock is 65% favorite against mage and that Mage is played 45-50%, why not just pick it up and join me in top 200, and then we can talk about the game, seriously?
See, I don’t even need a 65-35 matchups to get here. I get here with any deck I want.
Can you do it with a 65-35 deck? Or you all just talk and mock?
Yeah, no, you don’t have to answer, it’s a rhetorical question.
I’ve had enough of cowards hiding behind their envy.
Well, thanks for advocating for that deck. Just had a nearly flawless run 10-2 to legend. Beat the BSM mages 4 out of 5 times with it, but mostly due to the luck of early disruption and sometimes they actually got bad draw.
I am starting to see some variations of BSM in Legend, Not just specifically running the Tsunami combo. But the fill the board with nagas card and even Yogg in the box.
I like how he thinks I even play the game when I criticize narcissism.
