The funny part is that despite the buff the egg hunter is not even that good. Playable at best. The rest is correct. The game devolved into play the good card on curve and win. And this will even be more true when the disparity between the meta cards and the rest will increase.
Also reno druid had worse stats if I believe. Tgis nage deck requires 0 braincells to win games. A monkey could pilot it to legend. And it’s exactly like the motlk deathrattle rogue. Cheat out bog pile of stats turn 5 and snowball. They will definitely nerf this shi***t

This is more of an issue of the play rate than mage being super oppressive. There’s more than one thing that beats it.
Even a terrible deck that’s 30% of the meta forces you to play it’s counters.
Well the things that can beat it are mostly just super aggro that just kill it before they do their scams turn 5. This deck has pretty good winrate despite being 30% of the meta. Which definitely says qll about it being super broken. Also the fact that token hunter suddenly got t1 just because it can killl mage fast enough speaks volumes about how this deck is just broken and gate keeps anything that isn’t hardcore
That’s not really true. Reno druid is one of its worst matchups.
The popularity is skewing the tier list in a pretty extreme way though, yes. I’m not arguing it isn’t a tier 1 deck in power, or that it has a particularly healthy play pattern, but stuff beats it that isn’t hyper aggro if you are mindful of the matchup.

Yeah I decimated several BSM decks with Reno Druid last night. Barring a bad draw, a decent pilot of Reno Druid should beat it.

Nah, I just miss the game where decisions matter more than getting the blowout turn first or having a better blowout.
Since blizzard isnt actually bothering to make that game, big spell mage really isn’t particularly a problem other than the mulligan win rates of Skyla.
Just look at what she is cheating and suddenly the problem is exactly the card made specifically to be cheat.

It’s not hypocrisy, it’s stupidity. They WILL complain about any deck that’s this popular, regardless of how powerful it is. At least one of them doesn’t see these as two different things.
