Tbh today’s BGs patch won’t rly change the meta I think.
Dmg demon’s main issue’s about Silent Enforcer not giving any chance for opponents to do sth, especially in beast lobby. It forces users to give up most decks regarding rally, beasts, undead, and devine shield, thus strategy diversity is lost. Its dmg should be nerfed to at least -2 from -4, so that it triggers LoR but doesnt kill whole opponent board from the start of battle.
Not sure about murloc. Their endgame potential still looks insane. It only became harder to start EoT murloc from no base, but it doesnt rly matter since people generally build their econ and spell buffs first before starting murloc deck.
And leaving AFKay buddy untouched is just terrible… At least eliminating those three minions seem like good decision tho.
Crazy that discard lock got away with this tiny nerf only.

If you think that minor change is even “kind of” going to slow down the deck you’re insane. They also needed to nerf aura and make it so only murlocs PLAYED counted, not murlocs summoned by ones you played.
And what about the bug with the golden portraits after 500 wins? I haven’t seen anything about it being fixed.
Patch notes say “play 5 murlocs” “play 6 murlocs”. It’s summon which is the problem. Depths should be play for progress, summon for reward or vice versa. Not both. Weird how shaman quest is play for both. Do they not know the difference themselves?
Also, how did Chrono-Lord Deios not get touched with this pass? That card is ridiculous. Dummy warrior wasn’t the only thing that abused the living hell out of it.
Murlocs have a huge problem with Magicfin Mycologist and Apprentice and honestly it should be removed from the game until the apprentice is changed to get a TS on sell instead of being a battlecry.
Changing Young Mur-eye back to what it was isnt going to change the amount of scaling done with Apprentice and Azerite Empowerment.
As a person that plays Demons. I’m ok with Cultist being removed, but that isnt gonna stop the Enforcer comps, as this is more of a mid to late game, if you are lucky to get it and survive. Personally I’ve used Cultist and found it both good and bad. It’s honestly board space that I could use for IDK another Lord of Gains (Lord of Ruins, look its just what me and my group call him, cuz you gaining some stats, let’s be honest Lord of Gains sound better anyway lol.)
But most demon players are either eating or using LoR for Terc.
Buddies have made the season feel so bad, and honestly I hate buddies, as some of them are just stupid OP, and with anomalies, it gets worse, as in if you don’t hit ASAP you are dead by turn 7 or 8, especially in Duos.
I love Anomalies, trinkets, and quests, but buddies, ewww no. I truly miss vanilla BGs
+21 160 dust. Wow, I LOVE this patch. And I haven’t even played most of the disenchanted cards anyway.

Dmg Demon without Cultist is now lategame unviable in any non-beast lobby (like Catacomb Crasher comp), and even then its gonna be mid. Without even mentioning the -1hp
And Magicfin is not harder to start, its the other way around. Spell damage buff build up and finding the comp pieces usually makes it so that you start with one Magicfin token anyway. The endgame is where the dif will be felt, but probably still irrelevant since to counter it you need scam.
yeah and Blizz is trying to cut down on “scam”.
Where are the bug fixes with golden hero portraits? a long cheap rewind animation?
Sadly tier ten Rafaam warlock is massively nerfed since all warlock survivor tools are nerfed. DK, Rogue, Owonius Druid just got a one mana nerf each.

The only think I ask is that you make the names of the cards (especially for Battlegrounds) links. Sometimes you talk about changing this card or that and I have to go to another website or google to know which card you are talking about. This might just be me because I look at the art so much or that I have been playing Battlegrounds since day one (99% completion rate on the achievements) and the names have run together with the many different versions of the cards.
But please let us click the names to know which cards you are talking about.
Wild cards are continually constantly being killed. Glad I quit last year.
Why was Arkonite Defense Crystal nerfed?

If that is the kind of buzz that kept you playing Wild then I am glad you quitted.
The VERY rare Wild cards that get “adjusted” really are exploit/problematic/overpowered cards. They will not be missed by “normal” players who just want some good games going on Wild.
Giant taunt starships repeatedly getting resurrected is why, and seeing as most decks HAVE to kill the ship to go face, they get stupid amount of armor, that’s why
