I have this issue. US Server

Before disconnected, I was in a new PvE merc battle in the new dark shore normal mode. There was only an empty board, no cards, no enemy, nothing is responsive. I rebooted the game and ended up here with everyone else.
same, hereā¦got to the second fight in the new mutant murlocs bounty, the game only loaded the board, so i closed and reopened the gameā¦āYou were reconnected to your last game. Resumingā¦ā
Update: got the āunable to reconectā and got back to the main menu.
Look at my post with imgur. I described there what caused the softlockā¦ In my case, at least.
You got anything that might show how to cause an unlockā¦?
No idea how it unlocked first time. I can suggest that Blizzard made a backup, and thatās why I got free of softlockā¦ Just to get into another one, lol

After about 2hrs i got a message saying it failed to reconnect, and i can now play other thingsā¦ pretty gun shy about loading mercenaries though.
Why dont we have an option to cancel the recconecting process. It so stupid. Kick everyone out so we can relog.
Been almost an hour and still stuck trying to recconnect.
And also should compensate for my time as was half way the bounty
I was in that zone when i got disconnected, now im stuck at āYou were reconnected to your last game Resumingā¦ā But if you disabled the content is there something to reconnect to?
This Issue Is The Most Important To Resolveā¦ Because If You Cant Even Log Into The Gameā¦ Why Are The Other Bugs Even Importantā¦ This Should Not Be An Issue. Just Let Us Log Inā¦
on top of the factā¦ clean installs of both the client and the game dont resolve itā¦ you literally have players locked out of even playing the game periodā¦ and i even tried to dl it on mobile to resolve it for myself after clean installs of both the launcher and gameā¦ and to no availā¦ so this is def on yalls endā¦ but im not sure the reason why considering its only affecting some playersā¦ not allā¦
Due to the new Bounty, locked out for over 2 hours now.
Out of everything, not just mercs. Thatās a bit silly, since it happened before, and I thought none of those fights can last longer than 30 minutes.
Was hoping maybe the Mobile version will help, but I guess that is a no for now.
At least you are communicating with us, that is a good thing, stay strong and keep going while the hamsters are chewing the bugs!

Reinstalled the game client and game and still have the same error with account needs to be updatedā¦ Donāt suggest a fix if it doesnāt work.
I owned the Rexxar diamond portrait which I got from packs and after the new patch it suddenly disappeared and is now locked. Please tell me this is fixeable and I donāt end up losing my one diamond portrait.
Itās now almost 3 hours Iām locked out of the game āreconnectingā to a non-existent mercenary game. Hope there will be some sort of ācompensationā for all of this. Having spent quite the money and not being able to play is frustrating to say the least.

Similar issue here. Had 4/5 portraits for Rexxar (missing diamond one), got robbed of 2. I now only have the basic one and its golden version.
Other thing I noticed: either the second NāZoth ability is bugged or its French translation wasnāt checked before pushing the update. Its current French wording implies you take control of the targeted creature, which makes no sense since apparently you can only target friendly ones with it.
Yea, I lost all of the Rexxar portraits. This would seem to be an issue that needs to be noted and resolved.
