I was certain ace hunter kreen (the hunter/dh legendary that allows you to trade for free with immortal minions on your turn) would be the first legendary card to be nerfed. Ah well eventually it will get hit i suppose.

A card that is included in only 2.1% of decks, only 16.6% of DH decks, and only 11.4% of Hunter decks?

Either you know something that the entire player base has yet to discover, or the player base has figured out something that you don’t know yet.

I like the new update addressing the Murloc everytime coming in 1st when in pool situation. I like the other fixes as well. However, what about adding more people to the battlegrounds que that are friends? Why not que with 3/4 or less people per lobby? Any thoughts on this would be appreciated!

LOL. i would not call removing megasaur from the pool a buff. They legit killed murlocs

They should figure out what murlocs can have on tier 6 that isn’t overpowered. Murlocs lost both their tier 6’s in recent patches.

How is it that in my most recent game, their was A cannon and Murlocs who has Divine shield poisonous and Windfury when beasts were not in the pool? Mr. Biggleworth had everything that was supposed to be removed…Whats happening???

You might have played the game before your game client was updated.

First: why does blizzard still post patchnotes of bg and standard combined? There are clearly two communities that each mostly cares about their gamemode and even if not so, it wouldnt be too difficult and far more productive to separate the two. my ocd is peaking.

Ok now my 5 cents about the standard nerfs:
guess blizz is still waiting to pull the trigger on the other dominant decks rogue druid and paladin, letting people abuse the stuff a little more so that they dont cry the usual “I JUST CRAFTED THE WHOLE DECK FOR XXXX DUST AND NOW THEY NERF WHHAAAAAA”.
But the illucia nerf oooh boi. Please present me with a scenario when the one mana does anything? This card should never have been printed anyway. Imagine some kind of tempo priest variant ever becomes viable, empty hand play this illucia empty their hand and win. And in current priest you can just play this against any deck that runs alot of cheap stuff and vomit their whole hand and often some of the deck too. I understand tech crads, but in this case priests are not paying anything by including her. change the effect or rotate her imho or make her something like reno. 5 mana 5/4 that might still counter some combodecks but not be guaranteed.

I’m pretty happy with these changes (in BGs, I don’t care about constructed). Beasts did need some help, but I’m a bit concerned that exodia style setups are going to start to dominate, with parrots and easier access to death rattle buff minions. I’ve already seen some insanely buffed beast boards.

Very happy arcane cannon was removed. It was insane in the early game, and still scaled into mid game pretty well - just way too powerful for a tier 2 minion as it could buff the hell out of any type of early board.

Murlocs still seem to do ok - I placed in the top 3 in my last 3 games, and 2 were with Murlocs. Funny thing is I didn’t even know about the changes, and I was hunting for megasaurs, so wasted a LOT of rolls! With the tier 6 amalgam though, megasaur isn’t so vital any more.

All told I think things seem pretty balanced currently, but beasts might need another tweak again soon.
