Quality 5 masterwork gem chest only gave me a quality 2 selected gem

Getting a Quality 2 gem from a Masterwork Chest is the intended behavior. However, the message after opening the Boon of the Bloodseeker 2024 Masterwork Chest seems to be bugged. Despite the bundle stating it would give a Quality 2, opening that chest told me I had rolled a Quality 5 gem.
I was originally planning to select a Quality 2 Roiling to use in a future upgrade. Since the message incorrectly told me I was getting a Quality 5 of the gem I selected, I chose Wulfheort instead, since my Wulfheort is currently a Quality 4 and my Roiling is already Quality 5. I didn’t want to risk getting a duplicate bound Quality 5 Roiling, when I’d gain more progress adding a star to one of my Quality 4 gems. This bug prevented me from being able to confidently select the gem I wanted from the chest, so like OP, I think it would be fair for Blizz/Ease to compensate those affected by this issue in some way.

Having seen your screenshot…
The wording on that screen does, indeed, suggest you’d be getting a Quality 5 gem, despite the description on the chest clearly indicating you’d only get a Quality 2 gem.
