New PC client crashes and stall at Click to Play since Tues update

Several times since Tues I have been unable to log in. My client just sits at Click to Play without getting a server list or registering the click to play. Then once in game I have had several game freezes in dungeons that did not occur before.

The dungeon freezes are likely attributed to the old 24h2 Windows bug that’s still not been patched.

I’ve been doing alright lately then Monday was a rough day of half freezes and full reboots.

I’m unsure what the 24h2 bug is, I almost never crashed before. If that quote is the 24h2 bug, that is not the same issue. My screen freezes entirely and the game is dead, there’s no slowdown. I have lag stalls and whatnot all the time, but actual game crashes are almost never. The 3 in last 2 days are more than all last year combined.

That thread also has links to Microsoft’s own TechNet articles which confirm that the issues with freezing (i.e. complete lock-ups of the Operating System, not just the game) are entirely a Windows 24H2 issue, i.e. it’s not the game, or that the game was patched. If you check your Windows Update history, it’ll show whether you’ve recently applied the 24H2 update or not.

Nope, dont have it. And OS isnt freezing, just the game. I can kill it in the task manager. Then I reopen the game and sometimes sit at the Click to Play for a minute before it lets me click.

Same problem here. As of yesterday march 26 I’m stucked at launch screen (click to play). Side buttons work normally including repair installation (done several times already) but nothing works. ¿Any solution ?
