Immortal bug exploit during Rite of Exile

Servers affected: VizJun / Bulkhatos / Vizjaqatar

Today (March 10th), the immortal CapVodka from clan GrimReapers exploited a bug that let him transform out of the immortal form and use skills from many classes.

The following link is recorded material as proof.

Even the wolf transformation. Incredible.
Seeing the entire video makes it clear that it was not just an unfortunate bug in the game… The intention to abuse it is undeniable.
These kinds of actions need to be sanctioned severely.

I just hope that blizzard bans the player and sanctions him heavily, and that they repeat the rite of exile

It is unfortunate that a clan leader abuses a bug or uses a hack to win a rite of exile by cheating.

3 members from each of the 10 best shadow clans on the server go to the rite of exile, representing 100 players per clan; so basically the player whose nickname is CapVodka gained an advantage for his clan and his alliance by abusing a bug or using a hack that gives him victory and this ruins the game for 1000 players.

If we take into account what the terms of the game say, there should be an exemplary sanction that makes it clear to all low servers that this type of cheating will not be tolerated.

It’s terrible what happened. The leader of the immortal clan used 2 classes (bk & crusader) in less than a minute in the rite of exile. It’s a complete hack. Review your account and the rite of exile to make a solution and sanction the CapVodka player. Thanks

Ahora Blizzard sale pidiendo disculpas y nos da 3 rubies, 5 llaves y un cofrecito con chatarra…

Hardproof there and if Blizard didn’t ban him, there is no justice here.

Do devs even read these forums? Not an answer anywhere, feels so neglected.

Whilst I realise it’s from the Diablo III forums, this explains Blizzard’s general stance on what happens when you report bugs to them…

Continuing the discussion from How to Write a Good Bug Report:

We read every single thread that is posted on this forum. However, we will not always respond to every thread. If you do not get a blue response, please DO NOT bump posts. We will ignore and possibly delete any post that simply says “Bump” or demands a response from a Blizzard poster.

Whilst I acknowledge this you quote, being a long time player of many blizzards games, it’s frustrating seeing a player cheating or bug exploiting in a key part of its game and no action taken whatsoever. In other blizzard games I’ve seen actions taken really fast and many times even an answer.
As for today, the immortals are still the same, the player is still playing and nothing has changed. The message we as players get from this non actions is “do whatever you like in game even if it violates the TOS”.

According some investigation from Kouta player, is a bug exploit, left from Howler Hunt event when “H” key is pressed at start of Rite of Exile, immortal player transform in a werewolf. Blizzard please patch this ASAP!

Start a new thread, rather than talking about something that has nothing to do with the subject of this thread.

So, this happened again. It’s clearly a case of bug exploit as it’s not intended for a player to be able to transform into a werewolf during rite of exile.
Yet nothing is being done about it. Two weeks have passed between the first post and the second case. Will anything be done about it or are we free to exploit bugs as we find them? Isn’t it against the TOS we accept when we create an account?

Again, same person, same servers, two weeks later.
I’m definitely going to think it twice before spending more money here, since there seems to be no customer support at all.
