Gem Surge - for those that purchased before the correction

I am very confused by the Gem Surge event - and I am very close to quitting this game because of this snafu.

When the event came out, I spent about $1,200 to complete the event - to get 9K Fortuitous Blessings - I had a 4/5 gem I wanted to turn to a 5/5.

A few days later, I receive communication that there was a miscalculation and that I received an additional 5.5K Fortuitous Blessing. From what I can see, this 5.5K is useless to me as I have no need for it now!!!

Essentially “sorry we messed up; here’s 3 legendary crests and 5K Fortuitous Blessings you can’t use, but you could have used a few days ago.”

Did the Immortal team do this intentionally to squeeze more money out of players?

I submit a ticket and am told to submit my complaint to the forum.

Is anyone even reading these?

You guys have a great game but you are destroying it up with these bad decisions.

I can read. That communication does not answer my question.

The correction is a joke for players that already spent resources to meet the objective.

I am in the same boat. Absolutely terrible barely even got an apology on the email response
