The game us unplayable with firestorm. It will freeze, stutter and crash the game indiscriminately.
PLEASE FIX FIRESTORM THE GAME IS UNPLAYABLE AT THIS RATE !

Indeed, especially the type that leaves the ground effect.
Today I was in a Terror rift with 4 Firestorm-triggering barbs, permanent 5-second lag throughout the whole 13 minutes, regardless of how close or far they were. Unbearable.

please provide specs on what you are playing on if you wish to report an issue. Posting random complaints like this do zero good without information to help

Again, what are you talking about ? The game is freezing over on both platforms from firestorm and everyone suffers equally from it. It needs urgent fixing because it makes the game unplayable.

If you think it’ll help, my specs are:
Core i7 9700K, 32GB DDR4 RAM, GeForce RTX 4080, game installed on WD Black SN770 NVMe SSD
2nd platform is a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
The game does literally the same thing on both devices every time a ground firestorm effect triggers anywhere in the zone; extreme lag between prompting an action and the action actually having an effect in the game.
Not really experiencing the stutters the OP is showing, but the issue is pretty much the same.

No, this only happens while under firestorm and it affects everyone equally as well as the corresponding instance with enough proof to back it up.
Where are the developers ? This has to be fixed asap.
Dude the game runs fine for me and most people for the most part without firestorm.

WE ARE ADDRESSING FIRESTORM HERE SPECIFICALLY NOT ALL INSIGNIFICANT SMALL FRY LAGGS.
STOP BEING IGNORANT AND LISTEN TO REASON AND DON’T ARGUE FOR NO REASON.
It doesn’t, and hasn’t, for a couple of weeks across all classes / hardware platforms, regardless of whether there’s a Barb present or not, or whether they’re using Firestorm or not, but you carry on.

Just reduce the sfx blizzard and fix your broken game. How damn hard can that be.
