Find path to change Diablo Immortal to be no pay to win. Only things you can sell are cosmetics. Pay to win is critically devastating Diablo Immortal in present and future. Pay to win is making Diablo Immortal unbalanced and worst game playing experience. Everyone must have game playing experience, everyone is equal.
This ship sailed 2.5 years ago when it became clear that spending money could result in hero power, by buying orbs for real world money, using orbs to buy eternal legendary crests / legendary crests, and using the crests to generate legendary gems, i.e. gambling real world money gets you in-game power. At this point this is such an intrinsic part of Diablo Immortal that theyâd find it pretty much impossible to decouple it and they likely donât want to as thatâs what makes DI so profitable for them.

Yet the P2W is also what indirectly leads DI to get more content than other Diablo games.

In game competition scores, Diablo Immortal is terrible, critically. Diablo Immortal can not even have shared stash tabs and shared all servers and unlimited 200 shared stash tabs/unlimited shared stash tabs, hence Diablo Immortal is awful.
go find another game then? It is what it is, after this long its not gonna change overnight

Never paid a single cent. P2w? Whatâs the âwinâ if you pay? You do the same on an higher level.
You can get tons of resonance by buying legendary gems. Use real money to buy platinum and then buy the gems. Resonance is quite a big deal in PvP.
While you can farm platinum with various ways, itâs still extremely slow compared to just buying it.
Dawning Echos needed to awaken the gear used to be purchable only with real money but now you can use platinum too.
I am not interested in PVP, i only play solo, just for fun but not for some new pixels

They focused on pay to win business too much, therefore the game was devastated.
Give back all money players spent and go bankruptâŚnah.

You have zero clue how these games work it really shows. You just seem to be whining because you canât compete with the whales but they are what makes this game what it is. If it wasnât for them this game would have died within a year of launch. Cosmetics? HAH The real drive is to be stronger and better than the rest so its monetized, if you canât handle the heat then its time to get out of the kitchen
The game does need a F2P and low-spender audience for the whales to munch on, otherwise they will get bored for not being able to âwinâ over anyone and just move on to the next game.
There have already been changes that try to âclose the gapâ without affecting the overall business model. For example reducing the level of awakening first from grade 10 to grade 5, then further to grade 4, and making it not paywalled. Then there is the system of resonance gems providing gem power to the main gem which drastically reduces the total amount of gem power needed to get a decent gem. The number of double gem events and gifts of 10 legendary crests given out for doing nothing, has also increased considerably in the last year, which means nothing to a whale but itâs a huge difference for F2P considering the number of crests/gems one could get from playing the game.
However donât expect any major changes such as extending the catch-up system that exists for Seekerâs Path to Iben Fahd, normal or legendary gems, since these systems directly tie into the monetization and canât be changed so drastically without breaking the business model of the game.
This has got to be a troll. The games been out for 2.5+ years, you want to screw over people who invested into the game so you cry baby can feel better? People put in money and time, and shouldnt be dumbed down for someone like you who sounds like a troll bashing the game. If you donât like the game, go play Barbie goes to the mall.
The pay to win and the misinformation was so bad at launch that I stopped playing all Diablo games and this is coming from an old blizzard fan that had to go to a lan partyâs to play with friends.
I do not know if it has changed, but when I stopped playing DI I had reached a point where it was not possible to progress without churning out serious money.
I have no problem paying 65 to play a mobile game up front and then the cost of a wow subscription each month.
What I found even after multiple cash infusions is that I did not have enough gems or crystals to play the newest dungeons (pve)
Maybe things have changed. I stopped playing Diablo 3, and just got angry when I tried Diablo 4.
Still a blizzard fan, love wow. I buy and subscribe to it even though I rarely play. Maybe DI has changed. It really bugged me the one dude said they were making gear accessible to everyone and made a point to say you cannot buy it while not telling anyone gear is useless and only gems matter. Sneaky. Shady and not a way to treat long term supporters.
I miss Diablo, but donât want to play a game again that doesnât let me access basic content after spending $$$
Iâm a 2 year F2P havent spent a cent on the game and Iâm able to do everything but compete against whales in pvp which doesnât bother me. You have to remember as well that this is a NetEase game rather than a âDiabloâ on by your thinking. Itâs a complete different modal just with the Diablo names
