Dear technical support, please at least acknowledge the following issue:
Fairly certain it’s a session affinity/caching issue. Seems like any accounts that were playing right when beta opened and when the initial network drop happened, are now stuck. The load balancer probably sees our accounts as already logged in and the client just spins at “queued” waiting for a response from the LB or auth server, which never comes because the game server thinks you’re already logged in. The fix is to clear the session cache and reboot the LB. Which they won’t do until the week…
It seems there is a specific issue with console users who successfully logged in at the start of the beta, 12pm EST for me, and then got disconnected and can no longer get in game. We are stuck in a never ending queue.
I was able to play for about 5-10 minutes and got to the first abandoned town and was supposed to speak to someone. I spoke to a random NPC and the game crashed. Since that 12:15pm EST login, I can no longer get in the game. I go thru a queue of 70-115 minutes, then it attempts t…
So i was excited for the beta. I work away from my family and home for long peroids of time, so this beta happened to fall on a weleend i am home. So i oreordered the most expensive edition on ps5, i usually do i like the goodies. So i logged in at first launch, watched the first two cinimatics, was blown away how good theu were, i moved out of the cave killed a wolf or 2 and gor bootes out of the game, been stuck in a endless queue now since, we will say almost 24 hours later. Console users who joined the beta when it first opened, played for approx 30 minutes, then were DC’d at the initial network drop are now locked out from logging in. This is affecting multiple thousands of your users and nothing has been said/done. It’s not a good look. It’s to the point where D4 now has it’s own “red ring of death”. Please, do something, say something…
