I know well that PvP is of interest to a minority of players, and is full of unbalanced things that we hope will be addressed in the future… but at present a Barbarian with the Selig, if well builded, is immortal and impossible to beat and makes everyone leave the area. PLEASE FIX THIS SIMPLE THING. (and when you insert new items ask yourself the impact they could have in PVP too) Thank you for listening.

It can kinda be fun when the field is level but yeah there are barbs you cannot hurt that one shot you instantly. Its true, you have to just leave and come back later lol. Im only in it for those sweet pvp cosmetics.
I just encountered one today with my Firewall Sorc. It took a while though before he killed me. I was killing everyone except this Barb and my guess he has other Uber gear as well. I got 0.
I don’t feel bad or less knowing that the top tier build should perform as expected.
Barbs were virtually immortal already before Selig. You could watch PvP finals where to break the stalemate and draw they had to start forcing gear or skill removal, and gradtully over time you would be left with basically only 1 action bar skill allowed before someone won. Selig does not materially change the dynamic that Barb was finally able to achieve the power fantasy of kind/queen of melee tank class.
@Greyghost, there is a chance that they simply carried around fire resistance gear and when they encounter FW they just throw it on. And yeah, fighting against well built barb carrying both grandfather and doombringer (forget shako here) is a rough time! If you get caught undefending grandfather kills you. If they are kiting, well, you have to chew through that 41% + GF life bonus. Though to chew through!
Tears of Blood glyph will likely shake this up once people have a chance to level it.

broken selig immmortal barb, unexpected Thorn barb, stunlock barb. what do I miss? barb has 2 more weapon slot than sorc, necro and druid, 1 more slot than rogue. skill and aspect have unstoppable ability. and I cant believe they dont fix that broken combo point for rogue. this game is broken from the root.
I love PvP. However, it sucks when an immortal barb shows up. There is literally nothing you can do but avoid him. lol.
I play Rogue, but it’s not important i think. Without Selig there is a minium of balance (much improvement, let’s hope for the future ; ) thx for reply.
PvP is trash, but I enjoyed it enough when grinding out the seasonal objective so I could be sure to get the Feat of Strength. RIP to anyone who didn’t get it before the immortal builds showed up. Hopefully it gets nerfed or the objective isn’t present in future seasons.
It’s pvp and they said it will be unbalanced and that they don’t have any plans on touching it if you don’t like it then don’t go there! Best thing they can do is remove it from the game it’s been broken since day 1.
Hi, do you have some interviews, link, or article for check the sentence about they don’t want touch it in the future? For lot of us pvp is very funny and knowing more about Blizzard plan it could be useful. Thx
PVP in Diablo has always been an after thought. It’s mostly a nod to those who cry about no PVP. Being unbalanced this season or month is to be expected, it will change as time progresses and eventually a naked Sorc with nothing boosted will own a max geared Barb and then get owned by a Rogue with bare fists. Wait your time, evade the uber cheat builds (as viewed in PVP) and enjoy the game.

What will you know if you are a child with characteristics of pokemon and fortnite, the end game is pvp (whatever they say)
well that hot fix only helps against the starlight aspect and in general the heal -fury regen when damage taken interaction. as long as barbs keep generating enough fury via shouts and 110%+ resource generation, its pretty much inexistent, Tibaults will exists!. UNLESS, it means that the amulet unique ability is completely disabled and is not taking 3 resources for every 1% of health lost, then the fix is more like a zone ban as the item would render completely empty. If so, I HOPE it doesn’t transcend to pve, as we know how our dear developers code where 25=35 <3.
Can someone familiar with barb guilds explain what the loop hole or thing they will need to close in PVE and how it works?
so there are alot of things barbs gain from it atm. legendary node that gives you fortify on 100 fury usage. malignant ring gives guaranteed crit on 100 fury usage. the list goes on. and right now fury lost due to selig and taking dmg is counting as fury usage as if you used a skill
