yeah. believe it or not a lot of the big FPS franchises started out as mods.
He didn´t dictate to anyone what they should like. He just said its sad…and it is.

The post inferred that people should not like D4 for whatever reason.

Well I will explain.
You are ofc free to like what ever you want.
But from our perspective its sad, bcs as long as people will play game and buy MTX, blizzard has no reasson to change anything, that what make us sad…
Imagine you are going to one restaurant over 20 years and all of the sudden its bough by some one who… change things and you don´t like that changes, you will be sad about it.
Will i? Or will i just find another place to eat?
Feelings are for the weak. I base my life on more practical practices. It keeps things uncomplicated.
You may let your heart rule everything in your life, i do not.

Yeah you would be sad, don´t lie to yourself. Its normal to feel some emotions about something, that doesn´t mean you have to based your decision or act around that emotion.
But some part of cummunity is sad there are people like you who enable to Blizzard exploit this franchise, but they have same right to tell you you can´t enjoy this game as you have right to tell them they can´t be sad about sitation…
Has nothing to do with being strong.
As i stated, it is practical. We are not talking about feelings towards a family, spouse, significant other. We are speaking of an inanimate object, whether it be a restaurant or a video game. Those things do not necessitate feelings and require a more practical approach like moving on to another video game or restaurant.
If you don’t understand that, then i cannot help you. Maybe a look in the at what you truly hold sacred and dear is in order? Or maybe you’re just more materialistic than i am? Either way, you do not know me, nor i you, so what you “feel” about my “view” on certain things is inconsequential.
But the closed beta is still not over.

People have feelings for non living things since ever, did you never see anyone care a lot about cars, some work etc? Ofc any normal person would not end at hospital bcs someone ruin their restaurant or videogame, but its pretty normal to have some feeling about it, about anything.
I agree, so according to this let others have their feelings about state of the game and people responsible for that as much as they want.
Well, that’s the thing, I think the people left on forums are:

Trolls haters, left the game, here to stir the pot, no plans to come back, spite scenario - getting players out of D4 into other games i.e. POE / LE.

Disgruntled but stopped playing - these are people who might actually come back later, but want the game fixed to a certain point before coming back.

Complacent but stopped playing - come back each season, game is good enough, not perfect, but hey it is what it is.

Enjoying but stopped playing - season players coming back later, enjoy the state of the game - these, probably not even here to post.

Disgruntled but still playing - this is a lot of the complaint people, mainly end game people, duriel mat people, people looking for perpetual play but it’s not fun, feel somewhat forced.

Did you at some point forget that you have to inspect the secondary stats of every item that drops in d4?
I’m waiting for season 4. I enjoyed S2 so I know it’s possible that they can fix this.
If S4 is a dud I will stop playing until the exp.
If the exp is a dud I’m done.
