I have a strange wardrobe problem. I have an old preset that only contains boots. Now when I want to change the look of my current gear, I have these boots from the preset in the slot of my gloves and my equipped shoes in the shoes slot. Regardless of whether I equip all or just certain parts of my gear, the changes will not be applied and I will return to the appearance of the equipped gear. I also cannot overwrite the preset or save it to another preset slot. Pretty frustrating.

This is a bug affecting hundreds of players right now sadly. Weâve been trying to get Blizz to notice on here since VoH launched. If you see similar threads, please bump them to keep them on the front page in the hope Blizz notices one day.

Still a problem for many people and it is being ignored.
Same here. Boots showing in a glove slot on the first outfit save space.
Same. Unable to apply any look. Boots showing in glove slot in first outfit slot. Everything shows as default no matter what I do.
Same here.
The transmog system is completely broken for many people and has been for months.
Four threads:
Support just say post here and seem completely disinterested in getting this in front of the developers. Maybe once Blizzard work out that people will stop buying cosmetics in the store because they cannot be used in game they will make this a priority.
Things that people seem to have in common that may be a trigger for this transmog failure:
Buying all 5 outfit save slots.

Same here. Boots in glove slot. Nothing will save.
For one character on my account, my original character that I first beat Diablo 4 with, the transmogs are stuck. The wardrobe shows a two handed axe in the chest slot, and boots in the gloves spot. Any attempts to change and save are reverted immediately. The saved outfits in the wardrobe will not override or apply, the moment you exit the wardrobe the outfit reverts back.
I have reset the user UI. I do not have any add-ons. I have purchased basic blues for each item and put them on, per forum âŚ
Helmet, Gauntlet, and Chest slot is not responding when I click on modify. All slot has something else at the slot (ex. one of the slot showing a sword). Canât override slot save or save on a new slot for sets either.
l was originally able to save an ensemble for slot #1. I have purchased the remaining slots and they are marked as âemptyâ. If I try to save a new set to any slot now, including #1, the save simply doesnât happen into the slots⌠The âsaveâ button is available to click and clicking it doesnât perform any action.
I have the problem because my character has boots selected instead of bracers in the Wardrobe. The setting cannot be changed or saved. Unfortunately, I canât open a ticket for support to solve my problem.
anyone have an idea?
I just bought Vessels of Hatred and reinstalled the game.
On some characters the wardrobe is totally bugged (I canât change the transmog or save).
There is also a boots icon on the glove slot and a weapon icon on the helmet slot, etc.
Edit, december 6th:
No news about that bug?
I know it is just impacting the skin of the character but this is still important to players.
I guess on battle.net we canât get a refund for a DLCâŚ
I cannot change my wardrobe at all, it was working well until I bought the Blackjade skin for Sorcerer, I applied the skin after getting it, it applied & instantly reverted when I went back in the wardrobe & since then I cannot change my wardrobe at all, any skin, shop items or not. I can select all the items I want, but when I âconfirm lookâ nothing applies.
If I apply a skin in wardrobe, confirm look & I go to the tab âappearanceâ the skin saves until you click on the wardrobe again or log ofâŚ
I just purchased the expansion DELUXUE version for the most money and the wardrobe transmog DOES NOT WORK. This have been an issue for the last week and a half, where I cannot apply the change, save, nor load. WHY SPEND MONEY FOR TRANSMOG IF IT DOESNâT APPLY??? If this does not gets addressed soon, Iâm claiming my money back for fraud. Come on Blizzard, fix this issue or at least acknowledge that you have this issue so that I can wait knowing itâll be fixed.
Why would I pay money for new cosmetics if I canât use them?
There is a pair of sovereign boots stuck in my gloves location under the ensembles. New ensemble slots are not allowing me to save.
After returning from being away for a while my ensemble was set to the Sovereign Set look and I couldnât save any changes to my ensemble. Changes wouldnât save for the slot nor would it save for âconfirm lookâ and also wouldnât save to a new slot.
After unequipping everything and reloading I got the lâŚ
Wardrobe wont save on my necromancer. I have over 100 hours on this character alone. Very very frustrated about this! my favorite character and I canât even wear the new outfits that I JUST BOUGHT!!! Blizzard needs to fix this bug as soon as possible. I have seen this bug a lot on all social media plateforms. I would like a refund for all the necromancer outfits I have bought. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!
