I really believe the game should be 90% self found, 10% community support via trades. Perfect rolls of course would be scarce… and thats ok.
Being able to trade uniques will make this game viable for a long time like D2.
Builds a community that makes it feel more like an open world (personal preference).
Being able to find 90% of the uniques makes it to where you don’t have to participate in trading if that isn’t your cup of tea.
No changes to drop rate as eventually the hunt will be perfect items which will be rare.
Gives us something to do when we need a break from killing all them demons.
What blizzard can do to offset some of your concerns.
Actively ban botters
Actively ban spam
Close RMT sites.
I think at minimum $100 per purchase + seasonal income should be sufficient to keep a franchise game clean.
In addition please keep discussion civil so the thread doesnt get removed. Different opinions are ok. I know they wont do it but having different servers for trade and non trade was suggested in the last thread and that sounded great. Keep the good ideas coming!
it will instead make it a botting and RMT fiesta like D2 you mean…
and you yourself know its impossible to regulate bot and RMT website, look at D2R a week after release.
also , stop spamming by making a topic on this every day, stick to the first topic you make.
we get it you want to have jsp and do RMT, but no need to make the same topic every day man
and as you seen in every topic you made, aside from the 5 that agree with you since they want JSP , all the other replies will be negative as usual since most people don’t want a D2R Bis (bots and rmt everywhere) .
Trading sucks in my opinion. Look at PoE. Upgrades are so rare that you have to loot 2000 rare items to find something that’s even remotely good. The game has turned into a currency farm. You just endlessly kill mobs hoping that currency will drop so you can go buy an upgrade in your web browser. It’s awful.
nobody bothers about trade but few pensioners left at “ahhh, glorious good d2 times! did i ever tell you about that time i ran baal, and that time i ran baal, and that time when i ran baal, and…”. oh yeah, and botters of course. nobody else. leave it as it is, it’s perfectly fine.
making the same topic over and over is actually against the forum rules and considered spam by the mods, also you speak about civil conversation but anyone seeing your post history could see how uncivilized you are towards others…
so, if you think your opinion does indeed matter and want to respect forum rules, stick to a topic you make instead of making new topics every day on the same matter
If it was about something else , new opinions etc… it would be ok.
but here look at this :
every time a new topic asking for RMT and jsp to be possible through trading.
stick to one topic per matter and don’t insults others, both are forum rules.
i don’t agree with bodach on that topic (though i agree with him on other matters like difficulty etc…) , but he in his case contrary to you stay civilized and don’t spam like you do by making the same topic every time.
see ? i don’t agree with him on that matter, and it’s ok we can’t agree on every matter, but i value his opinion a hundred more than yours simply because he knows how to stay civilized and not spam yet you both have the same wish…so you know, being a good neighbor is important if you want actual debate.
man , don’t play the victim card, the 4 topics i linked that YOU made weren’t reported so …yes you know you can still post there.
none of the topics you made were “shut down” through reporting.
simply no one agreed with you so they no longer posted on it ,that’s all , that’s not due to report or anything, they were simply not “popular”.
it’s better to “bump” a previous topic rather than create a new one. atleast doing so allow you to stay within forum rules.
im saying that for your sake too : spamming can put your account (meaning what it contains) at risk.
though of course you’ll get a warning first. but still , let’s avoid that altogether and just “bump” a previous topic you made by posting on it.
(though of course it can be considered spam if you bump your topic multiple time in a row and no one answer and the X last messages are from you , so do think about that too if you bump)
Ill be sure to use my old threads. Frankly they were also flagged at one point. I guess an actual live mod must review them because those were hidden by the automated system.
You call me a liar but i can show you my history of notifications of those threads being flagged. But that doesnt help your narrative.
