The season 21 elemental explosions are a nice idea but they are implemented poorly. The effects are too “in you face”. Too loud (had to turn my audio effects off). And the visuals are so large that they inhibit the players ability to understand what is happening on the screen. This wouldn’t be so bad if they didn’t happen so often. They make the gameplay unpleasant. I typically enjoy the seasonal gameplay but found season 21 unbearable due to this. I’ve decided to skip it due to this. I can suggest several ways to fix this. Perhaps add an option to turn it off. Or perhaps make the elemental proc controllable by the player. Or make the elemental proc a pylon effect. or tone down the effects by an order of magnitude. Please understand that I have enjoyed and have respect for the work Blizzard has done in the past… but this was a misstep. Community, If you feel different please let me know. Thanks.
