People can get others silenced in Diablo 3 by reporting them.
There were a bug, if it’s still not there, that when you get a silence, you cannot play.
After some reports, Blizzard will not handle your silence cases anymore. They refuse.
Several of the silences I recieved, was lifted by Blizzard, cause it was incorrect. They looked over the chat and admitted every time, that it was cause of the reports from several people, that unleashed the silence for me.
After the last one I recieved, I was told that Blizzard will not handle my case, due to the fact, that it is simply their rule. Not cause of it was correct to silence me, but simply due to the fact “you get silenced, it is your own fault”.
While admitting it was cause of an error in their system about people being able to report you and get you silenced. It can still happen.
Now, I know you read this and is already on your way to reply to me.
