Same problem, Americas, greater rift public games give error code 24004
- What region?
— North America - Does this happen on a different character?
— at least every character on NS… (I don’t play seasonal so I don’t know if that would happen on a Seasonal Char) - Does this happen on [an alternative connection ] or VPN?
— I use mobile tethering - Gather a [WinMTR file] until the problem occurs for 10 to 15 minutes.

As an update I have tried changing the dns information from google to open dns to att etc. All produce the same result. I have also flushed all nat and routing information from both the client box and router.
I found a fix for me. Not sure why it works but it does. I live in US but cant connect to Americas default server but if I use Americas AU server I can play T16GR public.
OnlineService.Matchmaking.ServerPool=AU1
from Singapore playing on US server.
all characters affected.
direct connection no VPN.

Hi there. Have encountered the problem as well. Only thing I can add that will maybe help is that t15 and lower works for accessing GR. Only t16 spawns the error. Hope this helps!

Hey folks,
The connection tests seem to be fine. We’ll stop using them since it appears to be unrelated. Please provide this information instead:
• Character Name
• Character Type (Seasonal, Hardcore, Etc)
• Game Mode/Difficulty the issue is experienced in
• Does it happen on other character types (Example, non seasonal if you’re playing seasonal)

Reading the posts a few things seem clear already.
- T16 Grift
- Non season Char
- It does not affect seasonal char
Corrected you where right i meant to say seasonal on #3

The same problem, I can not join the public game 24004
All Character Non Seasonal Hero only.
I choose T16 Greater Rift and Public Games . When click button Join Game . Popup error 3 Times . ’ There was a problem searching for public game (Code 24004 ) ’ popup twice and click OK another popup will appear “There was a problem joining the game. (Code 24004)” . It happened after I try PTR . I copy PTR and but there is no error popup on PTR character. After that i aware popup happened on my normal games. Maybe you get some tips how bugs happened.

Not to be rude but its also annoying playing on a server where I dont speak the language. It is a workaround but not a very satisfactory one swapping servers
