Not counting unique packs or champions. (They make the chances slightly better)

The drop rates of everything currently suck. I’ve gone 50+ games without seeing a single unique/set item with over 400% MF. Meph runs are about a 1/25 to see a trash unique. Countess on Hell drops worse runes than NM countess. I have killed Diablo over 100 times on solo hell and never seen a unique/essence drop

Oh yes some random troll to tell me my actual game experience isn’t true. Nobody ever makes a mistake when porting millions of lines of code to multiple platforms. Get a clue

There is no way that you are getting only a trash unique once out of every 25 meph runs with 400 MF, and no way you have run 50+ cow games or meph runs, or whatever without seeing a single unique or set item. Do the actual runs and keep track of what you find. It’s just not possible. You are either grossly exaggerating, or you are somehow falling through a statistical loophole outside of all probability, resulting in worse luck than literally EVERYONE else playing the game.

dude my Hell Countess Quest gave me a El Rune, Seems legit to me, Nightmare Countess Quest gave me a Ral + Ort + Amn rune Totaly a fluke / hack right?
this games loot system is just bad.

how many cows do you think die on average cow run? 1000 maybe?

Thats DII but these purists in these forums say loot is fine. Its a remastered game. Its not DII if they want crappy loot drops go play that. But hey the QoL changes are ok for thes especial purists…the irony lol.

Loot needs fixing. Or Blizzard need to give us auto farm options.

Single player in game im guessing 400-500? in 8 player game way more

okay, but how many countess runs have you done since then? I got a trash rune on my quest too, but who cares? I did about 30 countess runs today and I have a mal, a pul, and a hel, in addition to the usual pile of rals, orts, thuls. The mal and pul were especially lucky finds, yes, but I traded for 5 skiller charms that I have from runes I got from countess runs that I did last week. It’s just not that grim. You have to get really efficient at finding your way down to level 5. I suggest heading left first and going around the edges. It’s all about the quantity of the runs. I sit down and plan to do X amount of runs, and I just listen to music and bang em out until they’re done.

The term purist is nonsense. I’m not a purest but I like the low drop chances. Means I earn my rewards. D3 was so awful on that regard.

hey loot is fine…only need to do 2000+ cow runs to get one rune you need then another 2k to get that other one…

It’s usually 391 cows. There are 350 normal white cows. There are usually 41 uniques+minions and The Cow King+minions.

Thanks for sharing this! I had a thread open that has since been buried asking if the Cows were one of the better spots to farm for Jah and Ber.

No Joke, I was curious about the odds of a Ber dropping and mins after I read the post I opened up a Hell cows game and a Ber rune dropped!!! Now lets get a Jah rune and Lo rune to drop for me tonight!!! whooooo!

I’m getting better drops from Andy than I am from meph currently. I don’t have time to do runs all day though so it could just be funky luck. But I find Andy easier to get to, and I found like 3 usable items (for my toon) from Andy in like 2 days, and 0 from meph over the course of a full week. I’ll just stick to Andy and ancient tunnels for now, until I get some +skills stuff, and hit the 105 fcr breakpoint (blizz sorc)

I love runnin cowbies! And yes the drops in this game are very infrequent and I love it!
In this world, almost anything worth having takes time and work. The reward for such efforts are vastly better.

Magic finding or rune hunting to me is cathartic. I turn on some good music, and farm farm farm. When that rare and lucky drop happens, huraaay!

But when things are not dropping, its ok too. Im usually never frustrated enough to come to this forum to complain, that is for sure.
