Can you actually get a Zod in p1 scaling from Cows or am I wasting my time? What is the highest you’ve found in this scenario? I know it’s lvl 81+ Area, is that enough to get Zod or let’s say Jah or Ber? Thank you for your quick response.

Yes, Zod can drop in cows even on P1
Player scaling doesn’t increase area or monster level, just damage and HP therefore whatever can drop on P1 can also drop on P8.
Cows are able to drop every rune in the game it’s just that the more players in the game the less chance that “NoDrop” rolls.
Zod rune can drop from any lvl 81+ regular enemy in the game and all countainer in act5. The chance of a rune dropped by a lvl 81+ monster being a Zod is 1:5171.

Hell cows with only just me in the game is where I got my Zod.
i think the confusion some people has comes from super chests because the drop tables change based on players which is why you want certain amounts of players for lower kurast to have better odds at runes (usually 3-4).
I’ve gotten a ber, jah, sur, Lo, and some lower ones from cows but those are the highest. Zod has an extremely low drop chance even compared to the other runes, so it’ll be a whole probably. There were people who constantly played the original d2 and never saw one
