Zekvir ? ? Overtuned Sadism

some of us like jumping through satanic flaming hoops

so, no. but you can feel free not avoid that type of content.

Nothing you said, as usual, was correct. Iā€™d recommend sticking to low-level content though, if that is more your style.

How about this,
if you do not do Z?? from first 5 attempts you considered a failure.
Determination stacks starting at failure number 10.
This way, you get to prove (or not) if you are good
and the rest of us get to enjoy the game.

How about this: Stick to not running hard content, or accept when it is hard. Zekvir isnā€™t overtuned, especially after the nerfs he got. All your issues amount to a skill issue.

You and I must play different RPGs then.

In most RPGs I play, while you can usually overgear/outlevel the game on a NG+, you do need to actually beat the game once in order to get there. Just like all RPGs, gear makes life easier in WoW, but you still need to actually play the game. Iā€™ll admit Iā€™m a bit puzzled hearing this sort of thing from you given your experience with high level M+.

The good news is that for the majority of WoW content, you can still outgear it. One singular fight that offers nothing besides an ugly mount for rewards isnā€™t going to make a significant difference in that regard. We donā€™t need every piece of content to be designed for everyone.

You did beat zekvir by over gearing it though

Must be my older age or something. My reaction time has crapped out. Or I get mezmerized by all the colorful lights. Or Iā€™m nust a sucky button masher

It sounds like youā€™re thinking of this encounter like your typical boss that you farm every week for your purples. Itā€™s clearly not. Itā€™s an achievement. I donā€™t know if the number of attempts you took is normal or not, but it doesnā€™t seem crazy for this type of encounter. Congrats. You did it. Youā€™re done now.

edit: whoops i quoted the wrong person

M+ allows mistakes and a learning experience, design is acceptable.
Z?? is atrocious garbage with unacceptable bad arena design.

Iā€™m not a fan of that mechanic. Fights like Zekvir are supposed to be an iterative process over many wipes. Having Determination cheapen the victory after a certain number of wipes (whatever number it is) works against that goal. I donā€™t want to have to worry about spending precious attempts on a science run to try out a new build or feel out mechanics.

You got your kill, you proved youā€™re better than Zekvir. Thatā€™s the reward for this challenge. If thatā€™s not a reward you want you donā€™t have to take the challenge. The challenge being available to everyone doesnā€™t mean that eventual success is promised to everyone.

but I suffered and it was horrible experience,
it should be improved for the rest of playerbase

nobody shoud suffer

???

So does Zekvir. If youā€™re not learning anything from your wipes youā€™re doing something wrong. Zekvir is really fast to reset and itā€™s not like thereā€™s any real punishment for wiping.

no but I mean,
in the dungeone run you can skip a few interrupts,
here, I failed and two spodegs hatched, nearly killed me

for example, to time NW12 I practiced NW10 8 times each pull,
here for Z?? it does not matter, the design is so bad in all aspects, your practice does little

It doesnā€™t need to be improved because you played very poorly. Youā€™re over 630. Your mistakes were exclusively due to poor build and worse awareness of the mechanics.

As a last resort if youā€™re bad, yes.
RWFā€¦how did they over gear mythic raids before going into mythic raids that drop mythic raid gear, that they need in order to out gear mythic raids in the first place???

No. You can go play the other games if thatā€™s what you so desire.

So it didnā€™t kill you.

I donā€™t know what to tell ya. My practice was very valuable. I became more consistent with every pull until I was able to pull out the win. I think it was in your other thread where I talked about my guildā€™s motto of ā€œfailure is a currency.ā€ Stop leaving failure coins on the ground and youā€™ll get more out of your practice.

Because I was too good with me remote sigils to control it
but it was stressful

So, you can choose not to do certain mechanics, and still live.

Glad we found that out.

Just like letting casts go off.

No we didnt find that out.
On most of other pulls despite my talent spiders were killing me.
