Some of them are more prone to getting ganked than others.
The quest to play wow chess in hallow, the dragon riding races, the quests that involve picking things up off the ground(turn on steady flying and you can do these as a bird, and just fly away if anyone attacks you), are all good easy to do in warmode ones.
But even the bad ones can usually be brute forced. Just leave and come back later if there are too many there. Or do them early in the morning, if able, tends to be fewer actively looking to pvp types during school/work hours.
Nemesis: beat him on ?, can be done in a group. If you have Brannâs quest, you get the Toxic Victory toy also.
Hunting the Hunter: Beat him on ??, can be done in a group. Gets you the Ascension Breaker title (I believe this is what the OP is after.)
Let Me Solo Him: as the name suggests, this is the solo-only one for ??. Gets you the void skin for the dirigible, and the intangible benefit of forum bragging rights
While I agree with this advice generally, for my run it helped to alternate cooldowns to get each and every egg down decently quickly rather than annihilating one egg and being on cooldown for the next. For example, as Templar Ret i would pop wings on one egg, but use Wake of Ashes+Hammer of Light on the next, which would mean wings was up again for egg #3 etc
I havenât personally used my Shadow Priest for the Zekvir fight, but I have heard quite the opposite on how theyâre not that good.
All I have is hearsay, I could be wrong or right. The recent changes mightâve catapulted Priest to the top.
In my experience, Windwalker monk makes the ?? fight a joke, you have a lot of tools to reposition and cleanse the poison effect that keeps being thrown out. Excellent cleave and burst etc. etc. etc.
That fight however is not a race, rather a marathon. No reason to force a 3 minute clear. 10 minutes is fine as long as it goes down.
Perhaps I couldâve worded it better, but the idea was to save all your cooldowns for eggs. Not necessarily popping them all on a single egg but rather spaced out as appropriate to ensure all eggs will be handled even if that means doing suboptimal DPS by not using them on Zekky or what not. Eggs > Zekky basically.
Like I saved my DRW even when it was off cooldown for eggs. I couldâve undoubtedly had more uses over the fight had I used it more or less on cooldown but that wouldâve meant I wouldnât have it for eggs and with bloodâs terrible single target DPS meant eggs could/would hatch
The big thing about Zekvir (?) is having the ability to get the dot off of yourself if you miss an interrupt, or your interrupt is on cooldown. Iâm not familiar enough with druid, for shaman I took the Thunderous Paws talent that lets ghost wolf remove it, and thatâs what put me over the top.
I can tell you with 100% certainty: theyâre wrong. Zekvir was practically designed for Shadow Priests to train on.
There is absolutely nothing Zekvir has that Shadow Priest doesnât have an answer for; particularly Voidweaver.
Fade for Spittle. Talented Silence for heal.
Void Torrent with Void Bolt spam is pratically enough for the egg on its own, but coupled with Dark Ascension each minute- eggs are scrambled easy. And if an egg pops? Pyschic Scream. They stun you? Dispersion.
PW: Shield, Desperate Prayer, Vampiric Embrace keep you up if things get rough. Shield gives you speed boosts to get out of bad.
Fade drops aggro when Brann fails to do his job. Heâs gotta learn.
Any Priests what told you this, were doing it wrong.
Shadow priest was the first spec to do the fight post brann fix without cheese (At about 612 ilvl), and it is the spec with the current record for lowest ilvl â??â clear, that being roughly 530 (No the 5 is not a typo).
It is by far the best spec for the fight, pre and post September 26th Nerf.
I did achieve the normal ? Zekvir kill with Maharogaâs help (carry lol). The achieve is achieveable in a group. The ?? difficulties must be soloed to get the achieve.
I am just so happy for the Normal Zekvir achieve & all the help.
Now on to working towards purple kitty

Also made my shadow priest dracthyr for movement speed increase. The speed bonus is so very nice on priest.

Every class can (and should) get rid of the dot without interrupting it. That frees up ALL your interrupts for his heal. This is especially valuable on ?? where his phase 2 heal can get back ~40% of his health!

I was talking about ? not ??. ? doesnât have a heal so you can interrupt the dot.
Also, ?? is a hard mode fight for the best of the best for people that want an extreme challenge. The OP specifically said they are not going after ??, just ?.
